The Call of the Rapids

The New River Gorge in Glen Jean, West Virginia, had been calling my name for quite some time. As we disembarked and returned to BaseCamp, the sense of camaraderie lingered. Kirby’s parting joke about Lite Beer had us all in stitches, a fitting end to a day filled with laughter and adventure. The New River Gorge had delivered on its promise of excitement and beauty, and I left with a renewed appreciation for the thrill of the unknown.
