The best trip to Isle of Skye and the Scottish Highlands - Alan, our tour guide was phenomenal! It truly makes a huge difference to travel with a guide who is so well informed about the history of the land and was able to make all the correct stops and show us all the best sites. They were also very flexible and accommodating to the changing needs of the group which we really appreciated. Highly recommend to travel with this tour group if you want a comprehensive experience of what the Scottish highlands can give you.

A Darling Trip to Scotland! - We went on a four-day, three-night tour with Andrew. The views were absolutely breathtaking and Andrew knew all the ins and outs to make the most of our time! He was very accommodating to changes and kids! We had a super time and can't wait to come back.

Absolutely unforgettable experience - If you're like me and research every possible travel option - look no further - this is your sign to book with Scottish Guided Tours. We just wrapped a 5-day tour of the Highlands and Isle of Skye and it was one of the best travel experiences we've ever had. Even writing this review probably won't do it justice. Our guide, Niall, and his staff made us feel welcomed and valued in every interaction we had leading up to the trip and they took care of every detail. Once we began our trip, it was clear this was something special. Niall took the time to get to know our family to ensure our experience was personalized and exciting. He was so kind, funny, and warm - always answering our many questions, ensuring we were comfortable, and sharing his own life and experiences with us. We had come with a big wishlist of "must sees" and we were able to check off each one and more - with Niall taking us to spots that added so much meaning to our trip. The days were packed with adventure and seemed to fly by because of how engaging the tour was. We truly felt like we were able to see so much of Scotland due to Niall's excellent planning. Niall is also so incredibly knowledgeable and a phenomenal storyteller. Our days together were spent taking in incredible scenery, exploring castles and ruins, falling in love with Scotland's beauty, listening to the intriguing history of Scotland, and being entertained by the folklore and legends that make Scotland feel so magical. We felt like Niall was part of our family and we loved getting to know him as much as we loved touring Scotland. We've already started talking about a return trip to Scotland, and when we do, there's no doubt we'll book with Scottish Guided Tours again, it was the absolute highlight of our trip.

It is all about the views while having a wee bit of whisky - Group of 3 couples had a wonderful time with Andrew over 4 days for a highlands tour. Leading up to trip worked with Niall who responded promptly to all questions, assisted with lodging, made dinner reservations, etc.
My wife and I had been to Skye before but still found it to be enchanting and Andrew took us to areas that we had not seen. We stayed at the Rosedale Hotel which is right on the harbor. views are incredible. We had dinners at restaurants recommended by Niall. The View at Cuillin Hotel is more than aptly named and the food was great. Andrew had lots of stories and history to share. Took us off the beaten path... Sometimes weren't sure there was a path, but always a great reward for the detours with stops for a wee bit of whisky. The whole experience could not have been smoother from pick up to drop off. While there is a suggested itinerary for the tour, if you book a private tour with friends, don't be afraid to do some research and make your own suggestions. There is so much to see in the highlands and you can't see it all. Don't hesitate to book with Scottish Guided tours.

BEST DECISION EVER - My wife and I visited Scotland with two friends this July, and we booked a 3-day tour of the Highlands and Isle of Skye with Scottish Guided Tours. It was the BEST DECISION EVER. Our guide, Niall, took us to places that we would have never visited on our own, and we saw so many amazing places. Niall has an encyclopedic knowledge of Scotland, its history (Kings! Clans! Battles!), and its mythology (Faeries! Selkies! Corrag the witch!). It's one thing to see these places and be amazed by the scenery, but Niall makes it all a million times more interesting with his commentary on what happened there, and why, and what came to pass afterwards.
Not to mention the fact that Niall is as good a person as you will ever meet. He is a truly warm, funny, engaging guy; it was like having a fifth friend on tour with us!
For all of the above reasons, I give Niall and Scottish Guided Tours my highest recommendation. We will definitely visit Scotland again (it is fantastic!) and we will definitely ask Niall to show us around again.

Private 4-day tour w a cherry on top - This is a trip we will never forget. Our guide, Alan, was beyond knowledgeable (Masters in Scottish History) kind, patient and funny. We packed a lot in and enjoyed every minute. The vehicle was new, comfortable and immaculately maintained. We traveled in Total comfort.

Fabulous private multi-day tour! - We took a multi-day private family tour from Edinburgh to Glasgow across the Highlands and Isle of Skye. Our guide Murray was great and super knowledgeable: kept our group of 7 on track, entertained us with history and folk tales, and answered all of our questions. The sites were beautiful, restaurant choices -great, and accomodations-comfortable. It was a wonderfully orchestrated tour and we all had a great time!

perfect tour in the Highlands - great experience with an experienced guide. Niall responded to us with good filling ability and perfectly matched the 4 day tour to our wishes. Thanks to Niall, we saw a lot more than if we had been alone. It is important not only what you look at, but also how (which way to take, when, etc.). This is where Niall got the most out of it.

Magical Scotland - This was a terrific and really enjoyable trip. Our group of 6 relaxed in a very comfortable coach expertly driven by our friendly and well versed guide. Our guide Sandy, loves his country and was very glad to share with us the history and lore of Scotland. He took our varied interests and worked them into our tour. We even got to play a little golf! Thank you Niall and Sandy for a memorable trip. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Scottish Tours made our vacation amazing. - Scottish guided tours set up a custom 5-day tour for us including the highlands and St. Andrews. Owner Niall was very responsive. He worked with me on an itinerary and booked restaurants for all our evening meals. All the restaurants were really good.
Right from the start our tour guide and driver, Sandy greeted us warmly wearing a kilt. He shared his passion for Scotland with us. He was flexible and quickly changed things around based on the weather. There were 6 of us with different personalities and he made sure each of us had a special experience. Niall was able to set us up for a round of golf on the Balgove Course in St Andrews which was one of the highlights of the tour. I would recommend Sandy along with Scottish Guided Tours to anyone wanting a tour of Scotland.
