Highlights

Defiance Rafting - Your experience starts by meeting at the Defiance boathouse in Glenwood Springs. There, we will gear you up, talk about the trip, and introduce you to your river pro. Then we’ll shuttle up Glenwood Canyon to Grizzly Creek where we will put-in on the Colorado River. You’ll begin your scenic float right away as we navigate down the lower half of Glenwood Canyon. There will be occasional splashes and opportunities to jump in the water through lower Glenwood Canyon and into the community of Glenwood Springs.

Ample time is offered for you to relax and soak up the beauty of Glenwood Canyon. Experience the thrill of swimming or just enjoy a hot spring toe-dipping session as you get close to Glenwood Springs, with the hot springs seamlessly blending into the Colorado River.

Highlight of visit - We had an amazing morning on the scenic half day float. Cross was an amazing guide and we shared the raft with a delightful couple. This has definitely been the highlight of our visit to Glenwood Springs, would recommend. Just wish we had been braver and booked the rapids trip, we could have done it!

Great trip - Eli was a great guide and he really relaxed our two girls[9 and 11] on the trip. The trip is so relaxing and yet has the right amount of splash for the kids. Thanks to Ellie too for all her help.

Stellar River Rafting Experience - I can’t recommend Defiance enough. 6 out of 5 stars The scenery was gorgeous, & the river was awesome, but the best part was the team at Defiance. Every team member was fun and engaging. Our guide was Charlotte. She was the perfect guide for our little girls. She met them at their different comfort levels to make sure they had a great time. Thank you for a perfect first rafting trip for our girls. We all had a blast. -Briscoe family
