Excellent Tour to Three Roman ruins near Kusadasi - Excellent tour to Priene, Miletus ruined Roman cities & Temple of Apollo complex at Didima (second largest Greek/Roman temple after Temple of Artimis at Ephesus. Lunch was provided on the tour. Excellent tor guide explained all the important aspects of all three sights. The tour company also arranged at the end of this tour to connect me outside of Kusadasi with private transport to Izmir Airport so I could catch my flight to Antalya. I highly recommend this tour and tour company…

Very good tour - The tour was really good. I highly recommend this trip for those who want to discover lesser-known/touristic sites in very good company. The three sites are really beautiful and impressive. The guide, Gül, explains very well. She is very friendly and a very good photographer! The driver was also very nice and helpful.

Unmissable tour of ancient Greco-Roman towns with a great company and guide. - This is an truely spectacular tour and must not be missed by anyone with an interest in Greco- Roman architecture or the places of such significance to the foundations of Western culture. The itinerary would simply not have been possible to attempt independently but is a very relaxed day tour with this company in the most luxurious people carrier I have ever ridden in. The tour takes you to the stunning hillside location of Priene which is the first instance of Hippodamian town planning and offering spectacular views from the Temple of Athena by Pytheos. Then on to Miletus, the birthplace of Thales and the genesis of philosophy with its vast theatre and baths. Finished at the Temple of Apollo at Didyma. Although less well known now than the Oracle at Dephi, it was as important in ancient times and another truly monumental structure. These sites are tragically neglected which means there are very few visitors to detract from experiencing these magnificent locations in peace. A special thanks to our host, Filiz. You cannot hope to find a more charming, attentive and most importantly, highly knowledgeable guide.

Excellent Day Tour With Erdem!! - I booked with Turkey Tour Company for their day trip to the three ancient sites of Priene, Miletos and Didyma. It was a great experience. My guide, Erdem, was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable with a great personality. Each of the sites has something special to offer: Priene has a well-preserved theatre and interesting temple ruins. Miletos has a theatre and one of the largest Roman baths ever built. I was awestruck at the massive columns and remains of the Temple of Athena at Didyma. These are three must-see sites. And Erdem made the day memorable by adding a stop for chai at a local tea house, fresh squeezed pomegranate juice at the Miletos ruins, and a tasty Pide lunch. Erdem and our excellent driver extended the day by taking me to a carpet cooperative I had wanted to visit. I cannot thank them enough. I cannot recommend them enough - great tour!!

Hidden Gem for History and Ancient Greek lovers - Priene, Miletus, and Didyma are apparently sites that get left out of a Turkish tour because of big names like Ephesus, Pamukkale, and Cappadocia. But for those who love ancient history and anything Greek this is a must see. I can attest to this as a big nerd for Greek mythology. The temples of Athena at Priene and Apollo at Didyma although not as greatly preserved as the Parthenon is still formidable. From the surviving columns you can see how massive (bigger than the Parthenon) they are and wonder how people of the time even can move the pieces to make a temple. Grid city planning was actually first used in Priene. Miletus has a nicely preserved theater and Roman Bath. My guide Erdem was very knowledgeable and explained these nuances. It helped that he is also a fan of Greek mythology (plus points) hehe.

The route to visit your Oracle - This tour is tour will take you way back in time. The sites are not crowded with tourists and are left in a natural state. So this will give you the opportunity to imagine and feel what is was like to live in ANCIENT GREECE! Highlights are: the columns at the temple of Athena in Priene, Greek Theater at Miletus and the colossal temple of Apollo at Didyma. Our tour guide, Umut, was able to provide us with tons of history facts and guide us into small villages to taste amazing food. Having a local guide is the best experience you can ever have if you want to really dive into Turkish culture and into Ancient Greek histoy. There is no other focus but to just enjoy and take it in.
