Fantastic afternoon on the water! - Captain Bill was great! He’s a very enjoyable guy to be with and did a great job on our little sailing trip! This was our 2nd year to go - and we definitely plan to sail with him again!! Thank you Bill!

Enjoying the York River by Sailboat - What a great relaxing way to enjoy the water and enjoy sailing! Captain Bill asked if we wanted to take the helm as he raised the sails and set us on our course across the York river. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time and loved steering the 32’ sailing vessel.

York River sailing adventure! - Capt Bill did an amazing job during the whole trip. Detailed instructions ahead of time including a map of location. Lots of great history while on water. Gave a real sense of what the old battles would be like with sails!

Sailing experience of a novice! - Had a delightful sailing experience in the bay of Yorktown, the mouth of the York River. I went solo on this tour and there was only one other couple sailing with me. Captain Bill was wonderful. Besides information about the area, he instructed us on the art of sailing. And with only three passengers and 3 hours to sail, each of us had ample opportunity to practice our new skills. It was peaceful, exciting, and stimulating - all at once! An amazing feeling to feel the wind on the sails and move about the water! I highly recommend this small tour experience! PS: Saw 3 dolphins + a sea plane taking off

A new experience - We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and it was an amazing adventure. Our first time sailing and husband got to drive the boat. It was relaxing and fun and we truly enjoyed the whole experience! We will def do it again. Captain Bill was the hostess with the mostest! Book now you will not regret it!!!

Sunset sail - Great communication pre-trip. The boat was clean and in good order. Captain Bill was polite, soft spoken and a wealth of nautical information of the area. We had perfect seas and a steady breeze. Literally nothing could have made this experience more perfect.

Great time on the York River - This is a great way to experience sailing without getting wet, and a wonderful way to spend time with friends on the river seeing Yorktown and Gloucester from the water. You can take a turn steering or just sit back and relax. I highly recommend and have done multiple times.

A great day under sail!! - My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary on the Deadline with Capt. Bill today. He is super nice and it was such an amazing experience. I haven’t sailed in over 40 years, but my sea legs quickly came back. Capt. Bill had great historical information about the area and is a very skilled sailer. We LOVED it!! Already planning our next cruise. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
