Explore Cheltenham at your own pace guided by an expert. - An excellent way to explore Cheltenham at my own pace. Informative commentary which kept pace with the route. I was able to stop and explore the sites that were of most interest to me. A highlight was the Cheltenham Minster where I was guided by lovely volunteers. This is so easy to access and has opened up new your options for me elsewhere. Great value for money.

Great way to explore Cheltenham - It was a great way to discover Cheltenham. The guide was easy to use and the guide was very knowledgeable about the town. A few glitches on the way round which were probably our fault but we soon got back on track!

Fab self-paced audio tour - My family and I had a day in Cheltenham and wanted to make the most of it. This tour is a great way to see the main sights of the town and learn some local history. We stopped for lunch at Montpellier half way round and were able to go at our own pace. The app was easy to download and use. We have already recommended the tour to several friends who live in Cheltenham but don’t know much about the history and architecture. You won’t regret using this. If you need WiFi just head to one of the local cafes for a coffee whilst getting set up and borrow their WiFi

Very interesting and easy to use - A very interesting audio tour of Cheltenham. My wife and I shared an earpiece each and found the tour easy to follow and very informative. This is the second tour of this kind we have used, and we enjoyed them both. I like the clever gps technology it uses and look forward to using the app again sometime.

I'll be seeking out more of these tours on my travels! - This tour of Cheltenham, UK, was excellent. Clear, concise instructions with interesting and informative comentary. It was easy to stop the app while I had breakfast and to resume it when I was ready. I'm am not skilled with modern technology but was able to handle this easily and enjoyed a good walk too. I now feel that I know this lovely town better and understand a little of its history. The only problems I had were when the GPS lagged a little so I overshot my spot for the commentary but I could read the on screen map and retrace my steps to make the necessary adjustments quite easily. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

Could have been so much better - We are a group of friends who booked 3 headsets, and chose this tour as it On our first visit to Cheltenham. We liked the advertised idea of discovering the sights at our own pace, and being able to stop and start the commentary. Ideal! Sadly it didn't live up to expectations. From the beginning, the quality of the sound was poor and breaking up throughout, so very difficult to follow. We all found the directions confusing, and got lost several times. Quite often the street signs were absent, so time was wasted revisiting streets we had already walked along. There needs to be far more detail when giving directions. When we did manage to hear clearly, the information was interesting, but much of the tour led to great frustration, and we seemed to spend more time trying to work out where we were, and where we should go, rather than enjoying the sights and listening to the history of this magnificent town. The whole experience was very poor, and quite demoralising. If you had visited Cheltenham before, it might have been different, and once we finished, and breathed a sigh of relief, we all said the directions would have worked had we started again, once we had orientated ourselves in the town. We are all technically able, and reasonably intelligent but this really was a complete shambles, and we could not recommend the tour in its present format. Details say it's suitable for those between 6-99, but I'm not sure how. It could have been so much better with a little more thought.
