• Moreton-in-Marsh - Enjoy a scenic 30-minute drive through the charming Warwickshire Cotswolds to reach Moreton-in-Marsh, our second pick-up location. If this is your chosen pick-up spot, kindly wait in the car park outside the ticket office at Moreton-in-Marsh railway station. The tour officially begins here at 9:30 AM.
• Tetbury - Following a delightful 45-minute journey from Moreton-in-Marsh, we arrive at the Southern Cotswold market town of Tetbury, a stunning and historic destination. Tetbury’s charming streets, including the picturesque ‘Chipping Steps,’ are lined with independent shops, cafes, tea rooms, and especially antique shops! Royal enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that King Charles and Queen Camilla reside at Tetbury’s Highgrove Estate, where a shop offers royal souvenirs.
• The Royal Crescent - After a pleasant 45-minute drive from Tetbury, we reach the beautiful city of Bath. Our first stop is the photogenic Royal Crescent for a quick photo opportunity. This magnificent curved terrace is renowned as the finest example of Georgian architecture in the UK! Fans of Jane Austen and Bridgerton will be excited to visit this popular filming location for Georgian period dramas.
• Bath - A short 15-minute journey from The Royal Crescent takes us to the heart of Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes of free time to explore with the maps we provide. While it’s impossible to see everything Bath offers, the famous Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, and the Jane Austen Centre are must-visits for many. Don’t forget to shop for souvenirs and enjoy a delicious lunch!
• Castle Combe - Departing Bath, we embark on a 35-minute journey to our final destination: the picturesque village of Castle Combe, often voted “the prettiest village in England.” Capture Instagram-worthy photos on the charming bridge, but also take a moment to appreciate its beauty firsthand. A stroll through the quaint Castle Combe feels like stepping back in time.
• Moreton-in-Marsh - The return journey from Castle Combe to Moreton-in-Marsh station takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic Cotswolds countryside. We aim to return to Moreton-in-Marsh by approximately 6:00 PM.
• Stratford-upon-Avon - A final 30-minute drive brings us back to Stratford-upon-Avon, where we bid farewell to our remaining passengers. The estimated drop-off time is around 6:30 PM. We hope you had a fantastic day exploring Bath and the Southern Cotswolds with us!

Enjoy the scenic countryside, explore the ‘royal’ town of Tetbury, and travel back in time in the charming village of Castle Combe. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the remarkable World Heritage City of Bath!

After picking up guests from Stratford-upon-Avon (08:50) or Moreton-in-Marsh (09:30), the journey begins in Tetbury. This picturesque and quintessentially Cotswold market town is celebrated for its charming streets, historic market hall, and excellent shopping, particularly for antique enthusiasts. King Charles III resides at the nearby Highgrove Estate!

Following Tetbury, the tour continues to the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath. A brief photo stop will be made at the iconic Royal Crescent before guests are dropped off in the center of Bath for 2 hours and 45 minutes of free time to explore, with maps provided. It’s recommended to grab a quick lunch to maximize your sightseeing time!

Finally, visit the enchanting Castle Combe, often hailed as the “prettiest village in England!”

• There are two pick-up points for this tour: Shakespeare’s Birthplace Coach Terminal, Stratford-upon-Avon – Departure at 08:50; Moreton-in-Marsh Rail Station – Departure at 09:30. Please note your ticket may display the tour start time as 08:50, regardless of your chosen pick-up location. However, if you selected Moreton-in-Marsh, your actual departure time is 09:30. Kindly arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled departure.
• Look out for our friendly guide in Go Cotswolds uniform, driving a large white minibus with green and purple Go Cotswolds branding—you won’t miss us!
• Double-check your selected pick-up point. Occasionally, we don’t stop at both, so arriving at the wrong location could result in being left behind. To change your pick-up point, please log in to your account to update your booking. Need help choosing the best option? Contact us!
• If you are arriving in Moreton-in-Marsh by train, the train arriving at approximately 09:17–09:20 is ideal. It’s a small station, and it’s just a 1–2 minute walk to the car park where your guide will meet you.
• If you are arriving in Stratford-upon-Avon by train, note that our pick-up point is a 5–10 minute walk from the station. Please note that on Sundays, there are no trains arriving before the tour departs.
• Uber and similar services are not widely available in the Cotswolds, and local taxis can be difficult to book last minute. We strongly recommend booking taxis in advance or using public transport where possible.
• If you’re not at your pick-up point on time (08:50 in Stratford-upon-Avon, 09:30 in Moreton-in-Marsh) and we can’t contact you, the tour will depart without you. Make sure we have your correct mobile number with international dial code before your tour.
• After the tour, please plan any onward travel as follows: from Moreton-in-Marsh: After 18:00; from Stratford-upon-Avon: After 18:30. Kindly note this return time is a little later than some of Go Cotswolds’ other tours!
• We have plenty of secure luggage space on board our vehicles, though please note our guides may not be able to assist with very heavy luggage
• Children aged 3–15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Sorry, no children under 3.
• Tours run in all but dangerous weather—please dress appropriately!
• Accessibility: Users of lightweight mobility equipment such as canes, walking frames and foldable manual wheelchairs are welcome on our tours, provided you can climb 3 steps to get on and off our minibus, multiple times during the tour. Lightweight, foldable manual wheelchairs can be stored in the luggage compartment of our minibus. We’re sorry, we cannot accommodate wheelchair users who are unable to get in and out of their chair unassisted, nor can we accommodate any electric wheelchairs or mobility scooters.
