The magic of the Cotswolds with Johnnie - I discovered the existence of the Cotswolds while reading a book, and from the descriptions I fell in love with it. At the first useful opportunity I organized a day from London; all the tours are by bus and rather “depersonalized”. Having found Johnnie's web page I wrote and it proved immediately prompt and exhaustive. He advised me how to reach it, asked about my interests and what I would like to see. He structured a personalized tour, with exceptional photo stops and immediately made himself available to accommodate us (for example, we had a desire to eat a real traditional pie and took us to a beautiful pub - stratospheric pie-). Then in conversation other ideas emerged and varied the itinerary "in progress". We really visited SO MANY places. A beautiful day, full of interesting information, in a fairytale landscape... with a dear person like Johnnie. Super super recommended. We'll be back for more tours.

Cotswolds inside out, with the best local guide! - Excellent!! I took my teen and my 10 year old on this tour. We had the best time and we feel like we did so much in one day. Our tour guide was Johni and he is local… he knew the Costwolds inside out and he showed us places that I guess with a regular bus tour you’ll never get to. He also knew that every time we saw a Candy shop we were literally jumping out of the car 🤣 Thank you… we had the best time!

Lovely Day in the Costwolds - We had the loveliest day exploring the Cotswolds with Johnnie! He was so knowledgeable. We loved his stories and enjoyed learning all about the history of the area. He took us to so many hidden gems and places off the beaten path that most tourists would miss. We enjoyed a great meal and wandered through the cutest towns where we purchased adorable souvenirs. The Cotswolds were absolutely beautiful and touring them with a local guide was the perfect way to truly experience their charm. This day was a highlight of our entire trip to the UK.

Best tour in the Cotswolds!! - On holiday in the UK from New Zealand, we’d heard all the hype about The Cotswolds and wanted to see what it was all about. Well, it really didn’t disappoint, it is amazing! So many beautiful historic towns and villages in lovely countryside. Great shops and food (Lucy’s tearoom and Broadway deli) Johnnie was great, really knowledgeable and enthusiastic and went out of his way to show us everything we wanted to see. A standout day of our holiday, really recommend!!

Great tour of the Cotswolds! - Johnnie was fantastic! His tour was incredibly thorough and he took his time with my wife and I to make sure we got the best experience possible. His knowledge and his personality made the time spent on the tour time very well spent. We went to spots that most tours don’t even know about and still hit the high spots of several of the villages and estates in the area. He also makes sure the drive passes many of the best views possible. If you are considering a tour of the Cotswolds, this is the way to go. Johnnie was fantastic. We’ll worth it!
