Highlights
  • Grace Bay - Prepare for a magnificent evening on a unique sunset cruise in Providenciales. The natural spectacle of this marine mating ritual—when thousands of glow worms (odontosyllis enopla) illuminate the sea during their spawning cycle—never ceases to amaze and delight people of all ages. This species of marine worm, known more commonly as a glow worm, inhabits the shallow waters around a few secluded cays.

The show begins shortly after sunset, when female glow worms release their eggs, which float to the surface and give off pulses of pale green light. The males also glow with this bioluminescence as they dart among the egg clusters to fertilize them. For approximately 15 to 20 minutes, you’ll see the surface of the water come alive with tiny bursts of light as a new generation is spawned!

Enjoy complimentary rum punch, local beers, wine, soft drinks and bottled water accompanied by a selection of local appetisers.

The timing of this glow worm mating ritual is controlled by natural forces and tied to the lunar cycle so this tour is only available for three days each month. The boat used for this tour is usually our Power Catamaran but occasionally our Sail Catamaran is used.

Nature is amazing! - This was truly a unique experience! We happen to be here after the full moon and got to see the glow worms in action. Nature is just amazing! The crew was fabulous and made sure we were safe. The boat was super comfortable and they served awesome drinks and some fried chicken and seafood. The only thing I would suggest is making it adults only since it’s a nighttime cruise. The kids kinda killed the vibe a bit but overall was an awesome experience! Thank you!

Really cool experience! - What an amazing experience. We saw hundreds of them. Captain Angelo explained to us the process before hand and it’s exactly what we experienced. Bonus we got to watch JoJo the dolphin for a bit.

Worth it. - Didn’t see a whole lot of glow worms BUT the views and the vibes beforehand are priceless. I’d do it again and can’t recommend enough.

Great evening boatride - Such a great evening taking a gentle evening cruise around TCI. I was picked up beachfront. No need for a bathing suit because there is no getting in the water even though I was picked up beachfront. Appetizers were local and very good. I really enjoyed the upper deck. Glow worms were breathtaking. We were the only boat in the area.

Great view - The sunset was amazing! The crew was great. Drinks was plentiful and the snacks were good also. The glow warms were cool but not as expected, obviously to no one’s fault.

Booze Cruise - The sunset was beautiful, and seeing the glow worms was exciting for my family members who had never seen them before. The staff were friendly and attentive. This is basically a "booze cruise", however. By the end of the tour, there were multiple people who were inebriated and it basically ruined the vibe of the whole trip. I'm not sure how to avoid this, however, when there is an open bar. If this is something that you would like to avoid, I would try and get an excursion without an open bar, or a private tour.

Disappointed - The staff was great, but we only saw 6 glow worms. Not worth the hope or money. I my expectations were higher than what was delivered

Ok - It was cool to see and learn about glow worms, the crew tried their best but it was very windy and a very rough boat ride coming back to the dock. A lot of money to spend if it’s not good weather to be on a boat.
