Additional Information

Our journey begins at Marina da Gloria, where you’ll board our special catamaran. From here, we set sail towards the Museum of Tomorrow, a significant architectural landmark in Porto Maravilha, the port district of Rio. En route, we’ll pass by notable locations including Villegagnon Island, Santos Dumont Airport, Fiscal Island, and the Navy’s Arsenal.

Upon leaving the Museum of Tomorrow, we’ll head towards Niterói. During this leg of the journey, we’ll see the stunning Rio-Niterói Bridge and the renowned Concha Acústica (Acoustic Shell), before reaching the MAC, the Museum of Contemporary Art. This building’s disc shape, a creation of Oscar Niemeyer, never fails to captivate.

Before we make our way back to Rio de Janeiro, take in the exceptional views that Guanabara Bay has to offer, including Adão and Eva Beaches, Santa Cruz Fortress, Lage Fortress, São José Fortress, and São João Fortress.

We’ll make a quick stop at the iconic Sugarloaf for a photo opportunity. On the way back to Marina da Gloria, we’ll sail past the historic Urca Casino and Flamengo Beach.

Best tour in Rio de Janeiro! Unmissable! - Incredible tour to discover Rio de Janeiro from the sea, departures from Marina da Glória in the late afternoon, 90 min tour with beautiful views of Sugarloaf Mountain and Corcovado, Museum of Tomorrow, Rio Niterói Bridge! Tour with bilingual information. One of the best tours in Rio de Janeiro. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful view from the water - I am glad I did this cruise. The other options I found on Viator was 3 hours, and I felt it would be too long for me- and this 2 hours cruise was just right for me. ( technically it was more like 1.5 hours on water. ) I saw other reviewer saying the meeting point being hard to find. As soon as Uber dropped me off, I knew where it was, but it is not marked. I only knew because there were other people gathering there. As I was waiting, I did not know if someone was going to call our names, or the boat just comes there when the time comes. I wish we were given more information. Eventually one staff started leading people to the dock. The cruise was great. It is a doubledecker and I sat on top level outside. The pre-recorded guide was in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Sunset in Rio was very beautiful, and I recommend this to everyone.

Cute boat trip for another perspective - A sufficiently modern boat that can traverse the bay quite rapidly. Great views and a few stops for photo opportunities. We felt safe and secure all of the trip. It was also nice to get under the long bridge. Running tourist commentary was sufficient without being too much. Just don’t order any Doritos/ crisps from the onboard snack bar—- they’re stale as £&€$!

Sunset cruise was not a sunset cruise meeting point was difficult to find. - We arrived at 1 for the 2 pm cruise. No one knew where cafe marina was. When we found it, no one was there. I emailed them and finally found them at a small stand not marked for the boat trip. We left at 2:20, returned at 3:40. The sun sets at 5:30. It was ok because Rio is so beautiful. They need to mark their meeting point and should not call it a 2 hour sunset cruise. It’s neither.

Boat was a no show - The trip never happened. The boat was no where to be found. We were there 45 min early and they were a no show. Consider taking the sail boat tour instead.

When Boats Break - The tour company was nice enough. Tour started one hour before schedule. Make sure you have What’s App downloaded. Once on board, the tour went about 1/2 hour. Then the catamaran broke. We waited almost 2 hours then got towed to shore by another boat using a rope.

Terrible!!! Irresponsible - Terrible service!! I bought a tour through Despegar. I contacted them before to credit the tickets, with date and time. They sent me the boucher. 2 days before I wrote again to consult a possible modification and they responded that it was immovable. So I go to the Marina Da Glória, where the boat would leave and when I arrive, they tell me that the boat was under repair and that it would not leave until the next week. So I lost the possibility of another ride and spent a lot of money on transportation since my hotel was 30 minutes away by car. Without giving any type of explanation and ignoring the problem. They gave me an email box to complain where I send screenshots and chat and they blocked me. Taking off will only refund the ride, but not the transfers because at that time they did not give me tickets, the photos and chats were not enough. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, SUPER IRRESPONSIBLE!!!!
