Beautiful experience - We had an incredible experience with Sam. We were just awestruck by knowing the history of all the places that we went to. He explained everything in a very interesting way, so much so that, even in the scorching heat, we not even for a second felt boring or not interested. It was just a beautiful experience.

Goa: more than just beaches and booze! - Like many first time visitors to Goa, we had a stereotypical view of our destination: beaches, feni, partying... Being a bit older, coming from a home on the beach, and not really into partying much, we were looking for something different. We decided to take a trip with Soul Travelling - the Hinterland Spice Trail was recommended to us by our hotel and we thought, why not. It was an eye-opener. We discovered a whole deep fount of multiple layers of history - modern Goa, the Portuguese influence before that, and a whole lot of tradition dating back millenia before even that. We were very surprised to see rock carvings and art more than 5000 years old that had been recently unearthed. We never had any idea there was such a treasure trove of archeological finds in such a small place. At the end of the day, our imagination was piqued. The very next day, we booked another tour with Soul Travelling (the Divar Island exploration). That was another very different and extremely enjoyable outing. Going from the magnificient St. Michael's basilica to the ruins of an 1000 year old Siva temple within the space of a few minutes was enthralling. And Divar being a small island with no road access makes it a very secluded and magical place that felt quite timeless Again, we had such a great time that we had to simply do one more trip with Soul Travelling on our third day in Goa, and we opted for the Benaulim Experience (believe me, it was difficult to pick one over the other, since there were so many other tours on offer, each looking more interesting than the other!). Again, it was a splendid day out and we saw the most beautifully restored Portuguese stately homes, and met some very interesting locals as well. The fact that we opted for a Soul Travelling experience on each of our three days in Goa and came back feeling that we had a new and different perspective on the place. It also makes it very clear there are a number of other experiences we need to do and the next trip to Goa needs to be planned! What made these trips special and memorable were our outstanding Ambassadors - Rajat, Vidhi and Sam. Each of them brought a great passion for Goa, deep knowlege of the local history and customs, and a genuine warmth and curiosity to not just talk to us, but to also understand our perspective and expectations. Kudos to each of them, and we eagerly look forward to doing more trips with Soul Travelling on our next trip to Goa.

Our best day in Goa - This was an amazing experience. Sameer was so helpful, and dedicated to making sure we made the tour and had a good time (we had trouble on our own with transportation, and he was dedicated to helping us figure it out). Then on the tour he gave us so much history, fun quizzes to test us, and made us feel like we’d been life long friends. This was my favorite day in Goa, hands down.

A great tour - We took a tour with Sam, and it was great! Our original taxi cancelled on us — which was not related to Soul Travelling at all — and our guide Sam was very flexible in adjusting the timing to make it work. We saw some really great sights, and Sam was a great guide — he kept things fun and interesting and showed us a bunch of interesting things in the time we had. I would definitely recommend Sam and Soul Travelling to friends. 🙌

Absolutely amazing - just splendid the experience was awesome joshua was amazing telling us all the stories the sunset there is to die for , the mangrove boat ride was the best with the different birds and sights and different types of mangroves , the story of the church and the story of the temple ruins were very intriguing
