An unexpected journey - We spent a very pleasant evening at Garnet Vineyard. The setting was really very charming. Misko was very friendly and it was a real pleasure to discuss his vineyard. The products to taste were very good. I highly recommend stopping by for a tasting.

Thank you for this great experience! - This was BY FAR the highlight of our trip. Driving there was not very hard and once we arrived the scenery was amazing. It is in a small town with amazing surroundings. When we were there we realised that we were the only ones who booked it for that hour, well even though we were excited to socialize, it was like our own private wine tasting so we call it luck. Also we got to know the family who are doing the tasting and they were amazing people. Lovely wine, lovely food, lovely family, nothing can be any better. Also they were very informative about the wines and loved hearing their stories. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again. We ended up buying a bottle of rose wine which tastes amazing. 💕 PROS: You can play football with their son. CONS: He would probably beat you at it 😂

Wine tasting in Virpazar - Really glad that we booked this visit. The vineyard is nestled in a mountain hamlet and the tasting took place on the owners terrace. We expected a group tasting but it was instead more like a restaurant experience with individual tables, making it a memorable, intimate experience. This was probably because we booked the 6pm slot. The owners presented us with wonderful food and introduced each of the 4 wines to us as we finished each glass. No pretensions and the owners just wanted guests to enjoy their wine.We did purchase some wine at the end as it was so good. Recommend the taxi from Virpazar ( from Whisky Bar)which can be booked to collect at a set time. Best memory of our Montenegro trip.

The Loveliest Afternoon - The loveliest afternoon spent in the most beautiful setting with Misko. His knowledge and love for what he does is infectious. From the minute we arrived (late)he was so welcoming. The food but most importantly the wine is just amazing. Treat yourself to this trip you won't regret it.

Hidden dazzling gem - Goodness where to start! It begins with a stunning drive up into the cliffs above lake Skadar, electrical storms we experienced are optional! We arrived slightly wet, but we’re warmly greeted by maja and misko. We chatted about the history of the village area and it’s history. Balkan history is certainly richer than most countries. Other guests arrived and then plates arrived filled with meat, cheese, homemade tapenade and the finest olive oil I’ve had. Then the wine! This is an immersion in history, viniculture and taste. The wine is full of rich flavors, we couldn’t buy the red as it not available yet but it’s simply phenomenal. Rich fruit and similar to some very very expensive Italian reds. Then we were treated to some Montenegrin spirit, or as I felt- fire water! If you need anything to rejuvenate the spirit for a couple of hours, or for dancing on tables… this is it!! We’ve drank wine all over the world but I will never forget this place. Lovely people who care about the land, the heritage and agriculture. Thank you! Come here, taste Montenegro, experience something unique!
