Village Visit - We were welcomed into the home of a very lovely Punjab family. They treated us to a welcoming snack and beverage, the best food and drink we had to date. We chatted to the family, the men in our party were dressed with turbans, we showed around the small farm and treated to tractor ride. This was a very welcomed addition to our trip to India, to see real farmers outside the city. It was an absolute pleasure.

Amazing village tour in Punjab - Spent half a day at this Amazing village and local tour of Punjab. Superb experience, hospitality, food, activities .. All of this organised by the full family themselves. We were big group of 18 people. Right from the welcome with the Dhol, the lovely time spent in the house, the tractor ride to the fields, the tug of war and finally the home cooked sumptous food … Must visit for a true local village experience.

The place is beautiful. The food was fantastic. The experience of driving tractor was out of the world. Hoping to come back soon

Wondeful and wholesome - The whole experience is very immersive and wholesome. The house, family and environment is everything that you would expect in Punjab. Hospitality from the tour cordinator, his wife and his wider family is unparallaled. From the tractor ride, to green lush farms and food cooked on traditional Indian style with cow dung , whole thing is totally worth it.

Amazing - I've always wanted to explore Punjab's villages and get a taste of rural life. This place was like a crash course in Punjabi culture, packed into a short but sweet experience. I had an amazing time, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a authentic taste of Punjab.

Tour of small village in Amritsar - It was a very relaxing and wonderful day. The family was welcoming and the food was amazing. I would recommend this tour if you have a few days in Amritsar

Underwhelming - We were quite underwhelmed by this tour, which seems to have rave reviews from everyone else. But this is our honest experience. Firstly there was a misunderstanding on the part of the operator as to whether we had a current booking. I had to get Viator to email them to confirm it, but this was after many hours of them saying I needed to pay again and I didn't have a booking. This was the evening before the tour, quite stressful and very annoying. We had booked for 0930 but they told us it would be better at 12noon as someone else would be there. We could adjust our plans, so we did so. We were welcomed by the family and given tasty pakora, lassi and chai. Then off on the tractor for 25 minutes. The other 12 noon person did not appear. Then out of the blue at around 1pm a minibus of people arrived, they had the same greeting we did etc and then were off on a 1.5 hour tractor tour. At this point the main guy Tarsim went with them, (which we didn't realise at all) leaving us with no one speaking English. A meal was served which was nice. Then the wife came up and just said 'tour finished'. We never saw Tarsim again, we felt we were accessories to the bus load. Maybe another day would have been different but it wasn't what I had expected from the fabulous reviews. We were hanging around quite a bit and felt that our tractor tour was probably cut short so that we could be back for the arrival of the bus. There was no milking a cow or other things mentioned that visitors could take part in, no offer of henna painting etc. No one around to answer our questions about the cultural farming life after our initial tractor tour. Family and all people were pleasant but as I say, underwhelming at best.
