THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER - We booked the AM experience, our guide was Peter, also known as Pete, it was once in a lifetime experience I mean it, the best experience ever, the guide made sure to know each of us personally to guide us and build trust along the way, the views were epic took us over 2/2.5 hours for the whole raft, amazing experience I will visit again definitely

Amazing White Water Rafting in the Rockies! - We did the White Water Rafting adventure on Kicking Horse - It was myself, my partner and our 12 year old and we were initially a bit nervous but the professionalism and kindness of all the staff put us at ease. The safety briefing was very thorough and they left nothing to chance - We were in a boat with only 3 other people and our guide Fabian from Chile was amazing and we felt safe and secure and had a brilliant time. Would thoroughly recommend this company to all people wanting to do rafting in the rockies!

Wow! Amazing! - The four of us went for the “Kicking Horse Classic “ and the experience was terrific. Our boat guide was Kyle who did a great job prepping us on river (adding to Vern’s instruction) and talking us through the sites along the Kicking Horse River. So big kudos to the whole team at Hydra River Guides. Located just 30 minutes from Golden BC, or 1 hour and 20 minutes from Banff AB, it’s worth the trip to experience a boatload of excitement.

Great experience - The Guide was funny and informative, the waves are strong enough to get shaken and wet. The duration of the descent is very reasonable. They are well organized and experienced.

Totally AWEsome!! - It was a first time experience for our family of four. The views were great and the rapids were thrilling! The entire staff was awesome and experienced, and we loved our guide Fabián!! We had a blast and we're so glad we booked!! Thank you!

Exciting team building! - We had a great experience on and off the river. We went as a work group from Banff which is only an hour and 20min from Banff so just a quick jaunt. Hydra has a great setup with volleyball courts and bean bag toss if you show up early. The process was streamlined and efficient from start to finish and got us out on the water quickly. Stef our guide did a great job, had some good factoids and provided an exciting and safe experience. My only complaint is she needs to speak up when providing paddle commands. It can be hard to hear over the water and its tricky as to which command is being said or if its a comment about the local area or not. By the end we were a well oiled machine of course, but it took some time to get there.

Great time on the river! - We had a great day on the river! Jaro was our tour guide and he did a great job getting us comfortable on the water and keeping us safe while providing an exciting experience. I was a super nervous mother picturing the worst case scenario but I wouldn't hesitate to book this trip with these guides again. My kids are 18, 16, and 12. It was the highlight of their trip.

Can’t wait to go back. - This was a really fun morning. The water was high and fast and lots of fun. Our guide, Drew, made an effort to get to know everyone on the raft and make sure we were safe and having fun. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

An exciting unforgettable time and a nice way to cool down in the heat! - Our guide Fabian was great! The safety instructions they gave beforehand were good and soon were sailing off down the calmer section. We had enough time to practice what we needed to before hitting the class 3 and 4 rapids,they even let us hop into the river and cool down and practice getting back into he boat (with help) The class 3 and 4 were fun and we got nice and wet and enjoyed the whole trip! I definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried whitewater rafting before! Thanks!

Totally satisfied customers - Brilliant afternoon out! We had Dave and he was hilarious whilst taking on all of the hard work! The weather was amazing, but don’t be tempted by the sleeveless wet suits. Our boys were freezing. Cover up. Stay dry. Thoroughly recommend this experience.
