Quirky names for leaders!! Haha - Emma added so much to the tour. Great stories and personal to the passengers. Much better than the music in the headsets! Go Emma!

Great Experience - We recently took the London Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus Tour and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The tour itself is a great way to see the city’s iconic buildings /places at your own pace. One of the highlights of the tour was the live guide, Andrew. He was very informative, providing fascinating historical facts and interesting stories about London making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're visiting London and want a comprehensive overview of the city with some added entertainment, I highly recommend this tour.

An informative ride. - A nice little trip around. Takes about 40 minutes. Commentary on the way around is very interesting although the music does get on your wick a bit. Several stops to get off at if you want to. The bus slows so you can get a photo of Windsor Castle Long Walk. You can also get off the bus at Long Walk so you don't have to walk from the castle and back again. I bought the bus and river cruise but if you want to go to the Castle I would recommend the bus and castle ticket as it makes it much cheaper to get in the castle.

Tour by open top bus in Windsor & Eton. - I spent several days in Windsor for a short break. To save my legs I decided to take the hop on hop off bus to explore Windsor & Eton. The brochure price stated £18 but I was actually charged £19 which I think was overpriced. I was a little disappointed that the tour commentary lacked any real historical content and a great deal of the tour takes you out into open countryside. Later I walked most of the tour by foot and appreciated the buildings and the history of Windsor & Eton much more. I think that the tour company should review their commentary and marketing strategy. I would still recommend people doing the tour especially if you struggle to walk any distance but be wary that the bus only runs the full circuit once an hour.

Very disappointing. - We took this tour two days running. It was very disappointing. The recorded tour was very hard to hear over the loudspeaker and the plug in headphones weren’t working, or not turned on. The recording was often not synched with the location and repeated the same script at several different locations. There was minimal information provided, with many opportunities to highlight Windsor lost. The staff were very pleasant - the only good thing about the tour. Skip this tour and find a good walking tour or just do a wander as Windsor has surprising few sights other than the castle.
