Delhi - Agra (210 KMs)

New Delhi - Pick up from the airport or any location in Delhi/Gurugram and explore Delhi.

Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - The Jama Masjid in Delhi, also known as Jāmiʿ Masjid or Masjid-i Jahānnumā, is a mosque in Old Delhi, India. Built between 1650 and 1656 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahān, who also commissioned the Taj Mahal in Agra, it is the second-largest mosque in the Indian subcontinent and a stunning example of Mughal architecture.

Raj Ghat - Raj Ghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, located on the banks of the River Yamuna. It features a black marble platform marking the spot of Gandhi’s cremation.

India Gate - Situated in the heart of New Delhi, India Gate was designed by Edwin Lutyens in 1921. This landmark honors the soldiers of the British Indian Army who died in the Afghan Wars and World War I.

Parliament House - Also known as Sansad Bhavan, Parliament House is one of Delhi’s most impressive buildings. Located at the end of Sansad Marg, it was designed by British architects Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker and inaugurated in 1927 by Lord Irwin, the then Governor-General of India.

Rashtrapati Bhavan - Rashtrapati Bhavan, or the Presidential Palace, was designed by Lutyens and Baker as the residence of the Viceroy and Governor-General of India during British rule. Formerly known as the Viceroy’s House until 1950, it blends Western and Indian architectural styles and serves as the residence of the President of India.

Qutub Minar - Qutub Minar, a 73-meter high tower made of red sandstone and marble, is the tallest brick minaret in the world and a famous historical landmark in India. Its construction was initiated by Qutb ud-Din Aibak and completed by his successor Iltutmish. This UNESCO World Heritage Site attracts thousands of visitors daily.

Humayun’s Tomb - Located in Delhi, Humayun’s Tomb is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a popular tourist attraction. Built in a garden style by Haji Begum, the first wife of Mughal emperor Humayun, it is an epitome of beauty and architectural excellence.

Agra - After sightseeing in Delhi, drive to Agra for an overnight stay in a hotel.

Agra - Jaipur

Agra - After breakfast at the hotel, start sightseeing in Agra and then drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri. Overnight stay in a hotel in Jaipur.

Taj Mahal - The Taj Mahal, located in Agra, India, is a white marble mausoleum built between 1631 and 1653 by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture, blending Islamic, Iranian, Persian, and Indian styles.

Agra Fort - Built in the 16th century by Akbar with red sandstone and later adorned with marble by Shah Jahan, Agra Fort is a massive structure on the banks of the Yamuna River. It took over 4,000 workers and eight years to complete and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Panch Mahal - Fatehpur Sikri - This ancient fortified city, 40 km west of Agra, was the Mughal empire’s capital from 1572 to 1585 during Emperor Akbar’s reign. Akbar built his new capital here after a prophecy by Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chishti predicted the birth of an heir. The city includes a stunning mosque and three palaces for Akbar’s favorite wives.

Jaipur - After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, drive to Jaipur for an overnight stay in a hotel.

Jaipur - After breakfast at the hotel, start sightseeing in Jaipur and stay overnight in a hotel.

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - The Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds, is a five-storey palace in Jaipur built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Designed by Lal Chand Ustad, it features 953 windows decorated with intricate designs, allowing royal women to observe everyday life without appearing in public.

Amber Fort - Located 11 kilometers from Jaipur, the Amer Fort is a famous fort built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh. Known as the Amer Palace, it is constructed of red sandstone and marble, with the Maotha Lake adding to its charm.

City Palace of Jaipur - Situated in the heart of Jaipur, the City Palace was the residence of the Maharaja. Built between 1729 and 1732 by Sawai Jai Singh II, it includes the Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, and other buildings, featuring many courtyards and structures.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - The Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is an astronomical observation site built in the early 18th century. It includes around 20 main fixed instruments, designed for observing astronomical positions with the naked eye, and is the best-preserved historic observatory in India.

New Delhi - After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Delhi and transfer to the airport or a hotel in Delhi.

Excellently planned tour - The tour was planned very nicely and the guides were very polite and knowledgeable. Even the Car allocated was in good condition and clean. Our car driver Harry (Bunty) was a very helpful always and took good care of us.

Tour of New Delhi - Saurabh Anand was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of everywhere we toured. He provided great company and gave us great recommendations of how to go about our trip. We experienced occasional problems but his ability to problem solve quickly made those problems disappear.

Jaipur and Agra trip July 2024 - Great tour. All expected sites were visited. All the tour guides, for Jaipur it was Mr. Maan Singh and for Agra it was Mr. Praveen Sharma., were very knowledgeable and experienced. They shared the historical knowledge and also suggested great photo points and photo angles. Overall very satisfied. Two thumbs up
