The barrier island has fantastic shells on the gulf shore but is a notoriously difficult anchorage with a shallow mangrove shoreline, and is open to wind and waves. 2.5-hour tour departs from Goodland Boat Park at 8:00 am, 10:45 am, 1:30 pm, and 4:15 pm daily
