The barrier island has fantastic shells on the gulf shore but is a notoriously difficult anchorage with a shallow mangrove shoreline, and is open to wind and waves. Possible spots for our tour might include sandbars in Caxambas, Morgan Island, Kice Island, Cape Romano, and Second Chance Shell Bar, popularly known as Shell Island. However, the exact shell hunting spots depend on factors such as the season, weather, tide, and wind. The captain holds the final say in deciding the locations.
