Uganda Equator - Our next stop is at the Equator crossing line, an imaginary line that separates the Northern and Southern hemispheres. Imagine standing with one leg in the South and the other in the North—this is your chance. Besides taking photos and enjoying the view, we will also have a coffee break here.

Gorilla Trekking Day

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, we will proceed to the park headquarters for a gorilla briefing to prepare for the exciting day ahead. Depending on the gorillas’ location, the trek may range from a short two-hour walk to an eight-hour hike in the mountains. Regardless of the duration, the experience of seeing these magnificent mammals up close will be worth it. Afterward, we will return to Ihamba Residence for dinner and an overnight stay.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - In the afternoon, we will visit the Batwa community, a pygmy group that once lived in the Bwindi forest but was relocated to its outskirts for gorilla conservation. Experience Batwa culture by learning about their forest gathering, hunting, and fire-making skills. Enjoy Batwa performances and interact with the community. We will then return to the lodge to spend the evening by the fireplace, reflecting on the day’s experiences.

Bwindi to Entebbe
