Departure from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Gorkha

Gorkha Durbar - After breakfast at 8 am, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Gorkha (a 4-5 hour journey). It is 140 km from Kathmandu and 110 km from Pokhara. Upon arrival, check into our hotel in Gorkha and then explore the ancient palace of the Shah Dynasty, the birthplace of King Prithvi Narayan Shah, who unified Nepal. Visit the Kalika Temple and the Gorkha Museum within the palace complex. Afterward, we will visit the Gorakhnath Cave Temple, a sacred site near Gorkha Durbar believed to be the meditation site of Gorakhnath Baba.

Gorkha to Kathmandu/Pokhara

Kathmandu - After breakfast, we will visit the Gorkha Museum to learn about the history, culture, and traditions of the Gorkha region. Then, we will drive back to Kathmandu or Pokhara.
