Amazing adventure! Highly recommended - We were a group of 6 family members who spent the day with Karl riding through the beautiful Austrian hills. Many were E-bike novices but with Karl’s assistance, learned quickly. The bikes are high quality and very comfortable to ride. The views throughout the ride were amazing and Karl knows all the most scenic overlooks. We had stops at small family owned huts for snacks and then lunch and the food was delicious. Throughout the day Karl was quite engaging, often joining in our family humor. We certainly recommend this adventure with Karl!

Best day ever! - If there is one thing to do in the Austrian Alps this is it. Get away from the crowds, exercise, reach parts of the mountains you never thought possible and learn a lot about the local and extended area. Karl and his trips are such a find! Book it, you won’t be disappointed.

Incredible Tour - Our family had an incredible e bike tour through the Salkammergut with Karl. The e bikes were in great condition and Karl took the time to give us tips throughout the day on how to ride them more efficiently. We are all better mountain bikers because of it. Karl took us through breathtaking scenery and we stopped twice for food. He recommended what we should order and the food was delicious. As a mom, the best feature of the tour was that Karl used his phone to take amazing pictures of us throughout the day. He sent me a google drive link the next day and the pictures came out incredible. It was so nice to enjoy the day without the pressure of taking pictures and documenting our experience. We plan to return to Salzburg and will absoiolutely book another ride with Karl. 10/10 experience.

Incredible Experience- Must Do! - Our family had an amazing tour with Karl yesterday in the mountains. He was so patient with my 14 year old son and gave us all great tips on how to ride more efficiently. Karl's e bikes are in excellent condition and were a lot of fun to ride. Throughout our day, Karl explained the georgraphy and history of where we were. He took us to two different spots to eat, recommended what to order, and showed us a lovely time. This tour was one of the best days our family has ever had on vacation. karl showed us such kindness and expertise. His tour is a 10/10 and if you're reading this review, do yourself a favor and book him. Our family will liekly return to the Salzburg area next year so that we can take the rest of our family on his tour.

Magical, Nature-Oriented Encounter with the Real Austria! - When I was planning my summer vacation to Austria, I had a few fantasies about it. I saw myself standing on the grassy shore of an alpine lake and diving in. I imagined a little traditional house in a meadow of wildflowers. I dreamed there would be a day I was not surrounded by tourists just like me. Karl’s mountain biking tour seemed like it might be a way to access these visions of Austria. I reached out to Karl, but when he didn’t have a tour open the day I was available, he referred me to his colleague, Wolfram. It was a bit of a gamble, but I decided to be courageous and try a mountain biking tour with Wolfram, and I am incredibly grateful I did! My tour with Wolfram was one of the most unforgettable days of my trip and I will remember the things we saw and did for the rest of my life. We took a mountain biking tour of Salzkammergut and from start to finish it was breathtaking. My e-bike was easy to ride and I learned the shifting quickly. Wolfram was very knowledgeable about history, nature, and geography and he sprinkled in interesting facts throughout the tour. He also turned out to be a wonderful mountain biking coach. I had done a lot of city biking, but had never been mountain biking and my skills improved measurably just in the five hours I spent with him. Finally, I noticed Wolfram taking pictures here and there, but he turned out to also be a wonderful photographer. After our trip he sent dozens of incredible photos of me from the day. Now that I’m home, the pictures I am most likely to show people who ask about my trip are the pictures Wolfram took of me on mountaintops, looking out over alpine peaks, or swimming in glassy Alpine lakes. And what about the dreams I had of getting off the tourist hamster wheel and into an experience of the real Austria? It all happened that day. A sweet little woman in a traditional mountain hut made me fried bread with jam and I ate it on a bench in a meadow. I swam in water so clean and cold that two weeks later I can still feel it on my skin. I ate teeny-tiny strawberries on a shady, hidden path that tasted like ten different things, all in one bite. I finished the day with helmet hair, but also so proud and happy that I had broken away from the hamster wheel of Sound of Music bus tours and Hallstatt Instagram photo ops, and instead had a magical, more slowly paced, and more nature-oriented encounter with the real Austria. Thank you so much, Wolfram and Karl. I can’t wait to ride with you again!

Highly recommended. A great tour - This was a great tour through the mountains of Austria with authentic insights into life on the alpine pastures and lots of information about the region. Karl did a great job and significantly reduced my fear of the slightly steeper slopes with his good tips. The topp ebike also helped to master the distance and inclines well. Thanks for this lovely experience!

Soectacular - I highly recommend this mountain bike tour! It was spectacular in every way. Our guide did a wonderful job and we were amazed at how many wonderful places we got to experience along the way. This is a must do excursion!!

Amazing experience - We visited Gossau on June 2024 with friends. We had an amazing time with Carl, he explained us every aspect to a perfect use of the e-bikes. The e-bikes were amazing, very good compenents, the battery was more than enough to fulfill our ride around. Bikes were really clean. This experience was a highlight of our vacation.

Highlight of our Austria Adventure! - Off the beaten trail. Phenomenal views. Unforgettable memories! My daughter and I visited Austria on a mother/daughter trip. She is 16 and I'm almost 50 but we both had an incredible time exploring the jaw-dropping, gorgeous mountains surrounding Gosau. We found Karl to be kind, attentive and very supportive of our first experience with e-bikes! We first visited the charming village of Hallstatt and then rode up, up, up past a cascading river and up the gravel forest service roads to some lovely vistas. Karl was so much fun to talk to and he captured such great photos - some of the best of our trip! This attention to detail really sets this experience apart! We ate lunch at a truly charming (and super delicious) mountain "hut" - a tiny farm in an alpine meadow. This will be a memory we won't soon forget; highly recommend! Thank you, Karl, for sharing your backyard with us! And, don't forget - you're the GOAT! :) :) :)

Highlight of our Trip - If I could give this six stars, I would. Karl was an excellent guide, giving us instructions on how to best use the bikes as well as interesting background information on the area. He taylored the day according to our needs. The scenery and views were spectacular! This was one of the highlights of our trip!
