National parks are very rarely within a city, and yet Bukhansan Mountain was designated as the 15th national park of Korea in 1983. Bukhansan National Park boasts of many gorges and granite peaks with crystal clear streams flowing between them. Hiking to the summit can be challenging and can take between 4-6 hours subject to individual pace.

Great guide! - My guide Kim was terrific! As a solo female traveler, I wanted to have a hiking buddy and we had a great day hiking up the mountain. He was extremely knowledgeable about Korea and I wish I had him as my guide for the rest of my trip!

Amazing tour! - Hike was steep but the feeling of getting to the top was amazing. Your guide was amazing helpful and great with any questions we had. Lunch afterwards was great as well. Winter hike was sooo cold but honestly the snow made the whole thing magical.

Fall color hike to Munsubong Peak in Bukhansan Park - Had a fantastic fall colors hike with Jimmy. Door to door service, entertaining, educational, great exercise, good food. What else could you ask for. Would highly recommend. Life long memories for us!

Spectacular - We had a wonderful time hiking up the Gugi trail to Samobawi rock. Mr. Jimmy was our hiking guide and after a short discussion he suggested this trail. The views at the Seunggasa temple was simply amazing!! There were no crowds and you can hike at your pace. Jimmy was a great guide and you can trust him to find a suitable trail for you. There are many trails in Bukhansan. Thank you Mr. Jimmy. It was fun hiking and having the gimbap lunch up in the mountains.

Get out thereafter be with nature - Mr. Jimmy Nam was excellent! He suggested the trails we should take based on our desires and physical agility. I was a wonderful morning and afternoon hiking then lunch. If you have the opportunity for a private hike, I recommend. With group hikes you are at the mercy of the best hiker or the slowest hiker.

Great mountain hike with mountain expert Kim! - We had our mountain hike with Kim. It was all very great and we ended up with a great view of the mountains and Seoul. Although we went the easier way as Beginners and did not go up the 836m high mountain but he found a great solution for us. It was all very nice and personable. Thank you Kim!

A must excursion for avid hikers visiting Seoul - Kim was a very personable guide on our hike yesterday! He let us go at our own pace and the views were definitely spectacular. Highly recommended for those who seek a little adventure in Seoul and for avid hikers. Also recommend wearing proper hiking attire (hiking gloves) and bringing trekking poles as this may make the hike a little easier.

Amazing! - This was a challenging climb and could not have been possible without our excellent guide, Mr Chance Kim. He is a very fit and knowledgeable guide who customised our hike to our ability. The view from the Bibong Peak is just beautiful. This trip encouraged me to do more hikes in Korea. I highly recommend this.

Great hiking experience in Bukhansan - I booked this hiking because I didn’t want to go alone, and I had Mr. Kim as my guide. He was very friendly and talkative. He had a nice chat while he was driving and during the hike. He was also considerate and let you go at your own pace. For the hike, it is quite challenging as it is pretty steep, and it is very hot during the summer, but also very rewarding as the view on top is amazing. Overall it was a great experience!
