Enjoyable day. - Well, we were very unsure about taking this tour because of all the negative reviews, but I'm glad we did. It was all a bit last-minute when we bought our tickets from a kiosk on the Sliema Waterfront. I said to the lady that we were probably too late to make it to the bus stop for the next service, and she said no we weren't, it will be passing us soon. Minutes later, she rushed out into the middle of the road to flag the bus down. I covered my eyes as all the traffic swerved around her, but this is how they deal with things in Malta :). We had preplanned where we wanted to hop off, so that worked well. While we were in Mdina, we decided an hour wasn't enough, so we skipped the next bus. No problem, we arrived back at the pickup point, and the bus arrived right on time. One word of advice. We travelled in mid-June, and it got so hot in the afternoon that we had to shelter downstairs to shelter from the sun.

Hop on, always enjoyable. Have been a fan for over a dacade. - We have been to over a dozen cities in the last few years, and always get acquainted with Hop on, Hop off. We sometimes stop at an attraction while on route & explore, & sometimes we go back to the attractions we like the best for a meal or a 2nd walk about. NEVER disappointed...!!!

It was ok! Clean, friendly driver, not great for disabled people. - €120 for my family, that included 3 adults and 1 child (10 years old). We booked it from a travel information point in QAWRA. The route was nice, took you to some interesting places includint Xleni Beach, Victoria, Ta' Pinu and more. The schedule was well put together, but didn't necessarily run to times. You are given headphone and have pre-recorded information you can listen to.....it didn't always match up to where you were though. Our driver was friendly, good with my Mom who is disabled. I don't necessarily think its the best trip for those with disabilities, if you actually want to see anything, you still need to walk a lot. If you do this trip, really do your homework so you know what to look out for.

Very bad commentary … - Its a great way to see the Island but beware the commentary provided is very poor . Massive gaps between what is said and very little local information given. We have done lots of hop on hop off buses around the world and this one was by far the worst ..

Don't waste your money. - Part of the selling point of this was that the buses are 'fully air conditioned', well we are currently on our second bus and neither have had air conditioning, only an open door! On a 30 plus degree day and seriously humid, plus the driver is charging for cold water, this is a bloody joke.

Ruined trip to Gozo. - Don't bother you will not be close to any attractions or even see them from the top of the bus. Ear phones do not work. Difficult to hear driver re: stops. The bus is far too big to drive on the roads. Better to use a van service/private guide.

Uncomfotable boring waste of time. - Waste of time. This was not a sightseeing tour, it was a tour of hotels that might produce a customer. Of the 27 or so stops, 5 or so were "sights" and the rest were hotels. I'm sure there are lots more genuine sights in Malta, but the bus didn't have the time to visit - it had to get to another hotel. Malta is hot and humid and the bus has no air conditioning. The ride was unpleasant and tiring and worst of all, boring. And to top it off, the bus only runs once an hour. If you do hop off, be prepared to spend at least an hour at that place. The Mdina is worth an hour and Valletta certainly is, but were staying there. I didn't spot anything else on the bus route worth an hour stop. Just pick the sights you want to visit and go by Bolt. It will be faster, cheaper and way more comfortable. If you just love hop on hop off buses, there is another company who's buses may run every 30 minutes. Look into it, because the once-an-hour thing makes it particularly useless.

Skip the Hop on Hop Off take Uber or the Bus - Buses are old no top cover from Sun and it is hot in Malta. Many people had problems with the audio equipment. We finally got off and used Uber and frankly it might be less expensive for two or three people and you travel at your own pace and comfort. Also Malta has a great public bus system with air-conditioning

To be avoided - A shame, booked a cruise to Gozo and Comino and a bus up and down Zero punctuality, the buses are old, and people are either standing or sitting on the floor Absolutely avoid this company

Won't use again!! - We chose City Sightseeing because they're well known and we expected a good tour around beautiful Gozo. Sadly we've taken 2 coaches on the trip, both with no air con in 30+° heat! Unless you count the door being left open air con. Being partly deaf the commentary was hard to hear with the in ear piece provided so I've missed most of the history talk. Driver seemed intent to keep everyone waiting too, for no reason! Didn't want to listen to me when questioned either! Don't bother wasting your money!
