Definitely recomment a vehicle for just two! There's too much to see! - This is my third attempt to review so it will now be short! Highly recommend booking a tour for just two people in order to have the best opportunity to view the wildlife. This was our second time at Addo Elephant Nat'l Park and we saw several new animals the second time around. There is a huge difference between a National Park and a private game reserve. If you want to take your chances (but you will definitely see animals) go the Nat'l Park route, otherwise it's basically a zoo without bars. Our guide, Pardon, did a fabulous job of finding animals, including lions that were probably 1/4 - 1/3 of a mile away.

Loved Addo Elephant Park! - Very knowledgeable guide, Mastoff. Park exceeded our expectations. 👍. Took wonderful pictures and so close to animals. Awesome day!

A day with the elephants - Being within metres of herds of elephants. Being a solo tourist with a extremely knowledgeable guide was great. The park is very impressive.

Magical experience - We had a wonderful time in this tour from the tour group Under African Skies ran by Teshni. We felt that team went above and beyond to make sure we are having a great time: the surprise coffee stop by the river with a bunch of treats while we are watching water buffalos across the river, amazing barbecue cooked right in front of us and at the end of the tour - a surprise gift! Really special experience, telling all my friends about it.

Great safari experience - Had a great time with Walter, he really brought Addo alive with his enthusiasm and great knowledge of the park and the animals in it. We went on two drives with him and he was always on time, always friendly and accommodating, and if he can’t find the game in Addo, no one can. Saw wonderful elephant herds, hartebeasts and loads of other antelopes, warthogs, jackals… the list goes on. Highly recommend Addo Travel centre.

Great animal sightings - We spent a great day with Walter at Addo Elephant Park. Walter gave us so much of his knowledge about the nature,animal but also the culture. It was a real pleasure to spend the day with him and watch the animals.

Addo experience - Brian was an excellent guide, very well informed and helpful. Transport vehicle was unsatisfactory: pick-up arrangement failed and caused one hour delay and serious frustration, while vehicle itself (standard bus-taxi) was uncomfortable, and not ideal for game viewing. Braai lunch dreadful: unsatisfactory hygiene, overcooked meat, and all four in party suffered consequences of varying severity.

WARRANTY FOR A 4 X 4 VEHICLE NOT RESPECTED - FIRST DISAPPOINTMENT: After finally finding our guide (no sign with our name at the exit of the port), we headed towards a mini van. We immediately asked the guide why we didn't have a 4x4 for the day. He informed us that we would change vehicles when we arrived at the park. However, we had communicated with Tripadviser before booking in order to have the guarantee that the safari would be done in 4 X 4. Otherwise, we would not book this excursion, because we have already done safaris and know the difference experience between the two. We were assured that the safari would be done with a 4x4. SECOND DISAPPOINTMENT: At the park, we changed vehicles to another mini van. The guide put us in contact with his boss. We could wait for another group for a 4x4, but they didn't know when we could start the safari. We had to wait at the restaurant for him to arrive. Not wanting to waste part of the day waiting, we decided to leave with the group in the mini van. THIRD DISAPPOINTMENT: Being six people in a mini van with only four windows that opened, there was always one person in the center of the vehicle who couldn't take photos unless they did so through a window. FOURTH DISAPPOINTMENT: Maybe we were just unlucky, but we didn't see many species of animals during the several hours of safari. POSITIVE : The lunch was excellent and in a very pleasant environment.

Four hours in a car without air condition - The guide was good. The Safari Park interesting but they sent us a car without air-conditioning. It was a lousy car, and we have been forced to stay more than four hours without air conditioner. I would like to have at least 50% of my money back.

Terrible experience - The driver never showed ruining my trip. I will never use this service again. Viator Support was difficult to find out the website. And once I did find they were very little help. I ended up having to pay more money for on the media trip. That was only a half-day not a full day. Viator was responsible for ruining my vacation.
