A wonderful experience - What an unforgettable experience. We had an absolutely incredible experience with Jake onboard My Bru after winning a lucky prize at the 2025 Whale trail during the whale festival. I appreciate the work Raggy charters does to give back and ensure we respect the marine wildlife. We got to see humpback whales, bottlenose dolphins (quite special how some of them are named based on unique characteristics), seals and penquins. The crew are so welcoming and friendly and we learnt so much about the marine life in our backyard and the islands we drive past and wonder about from afar on a regular basis! Would 10/10 recommend to locals and tourists!

World class whale watching experience! - We had an absolutely incredible experience with Jake onboard MY Bru whale watching. From experience I knew it would be good but this was incredible!!! Not even 5 minutes after leaving the harbor we bumped into our first pod of 150 pluss common dolphins "Playing" behind the backline. From there we went to the point where we encounterd well over 15 humpback whales. With the conditions being slightly rougher we got to experience over 20 pluss full breaches. One of the highlights was watching a mom and calf breach one after another almost as if the mom was teaching the calf to breach. Just when we thought it couldn't get better we crossed the bay to Snt Croix where Jake explained the history of the islands and the penguins. We bumped into two more separate pods of dolphins both 100 strong. We were then served lovely tomatoes and cheese croissant. We called it and we were on our way back to the Harbour and approximately 2 miles away action erupted again with a brides whale feeding. As Jake explained we had a unique situation with a bride whale feeding and swimming together with dolphins. This was honestly a incredible experience! Seeing penguin, marine birds, seals, dolphins and two species of whales up close and personal! Can't thank Jake and the raggie charters team enough for this world class experience!!! 👏

Amazing experience!! - An unforgettable experience with Raggy Charters in Port Elizabeth! The crew’s passion for marine life and deep knowledge of the local ecosystem made the trip both educational and exciting. From the moment we set off, we felt in expert hands. Be prepared for a bit of adventure—PE is known for its wind, and you will get wet, but that just adds to the thrill of being out on the ocean. We spotted incredible wildlife and learned so much along the way. It’s a must-do if you're in the area. Highly recommended for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike!

Magnificent and uplifting! - This trip was a birthday gift from dear friends. It was so energising and exhilarating!! I loved every moment. The Skipper and Crew, were so informative and they clearly love what they do, sharing their great respect for the ocean creatures, with conservation and protection of this environment, a foremost priority. We saw all that we had hoped to see. What a privilege. This charter trip should be compulsory for every resident and visitor in the Eastern Cape. I have lived in Port Elizabeth for so many years and had no idea of the incredible experience Raggy Charters offers. I would do this trip over and over again. It was magnificent out on the ocean, up close to the joyful dolphins, the penguins, gannets, oyster catchers, gulls, cormorants and the absolute highlight, two species of whales…the giant Humpback whales and the Bryde’s whale. Up close and fascinating - the whale calls, the spray from the whales blowing and the tail slapping, were simply an unforgettable experience! The journey ends with the rays of the setting sun filtering across the Bay. Breathtakingly beautiful.

A lesson on Algoa Bay - We had a fantastic day out Keith and Shaun (Sean not sure of spelling) they were extremely welcoming and shared their vast knowledge of Algoa bay. We got to see Humpback whale, Southern Right whale, massive pod of Dolphins and penguins in the water and on the island. It was quite cool on the water so dress appropriately.
