On an e-Fat Bike tour, we start riding through the picturesque village of Karya, while you immerse yourself in the traditional Greek culture. Karya, is a charming mountain village known for its traditional architecture and warm hospitality.
As we ride through the narrow streets on our e-Fat Bikes, you will be captivated by the beauty of the stone houses and the colorful flowers adorning the balconies.
On the way back to Karya, at the end of the tour, you will have a chance to do take a seat at one of the local cafes and enjoy a cup of Greek coffee, a glass of wine, and enjoy a tapas (included), while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the old central square of the village.
- Egklouvi - The wonderful mountain Englouvi village is a great refreshing spot for a stop after the uphill cycling.
- Alexandros - Continue your journey to the village of Alexandros. As we ride through the rolling hills, take in the scenic beauty and capture the essence of the countryside. Alexandros offers another opportunity to connect with the local culture.
The village was completely evacuated since the 50’s, until a couple of decades ago, where redevelopment started taking over again, making Alexandros an attractive area for those who wanted to build a property and sense the real tranquility of Lefkada.
Alexandros has a traditional ruined olive oil mill that had been operating for over a century. On our e-Fat Bike tour, you can visit the mill and shoot some amazing pictures.
- Karya - While not directly on the plateau, a detour to the Agios Ioannis Monastery is worth it. On our e-Fat Bike tour, we will take a moment to soak in the tranquility and enjoy the serenity of this sacred place. Then we will ride up to the monastery and explore its beautiful gardens and ancient frescoes, we will also enjoy the mountain views, visit the monastery, and take in the spiritual ambiance.
Agios Ioannis Monastery is a historic monastery located on the central part of Lefkada. It is perched on top of a hill, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
- Vafkeri - Continuing your journey, you’ll arrive in the peaceful village of Vafkeri. This hidden gem is nestled in the mountains, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take a break and let’s make a short stop at the main square of the village and take some nice pictures.
