Highlights
  • Santorini Old Harbor - Santorini’s Old Port, also known as “Fira Port,” is the starting and the ending point for our activity! It is a charming harbor nestled at the base of the steep cliffs below the town of Fira, the capital of Santorini. Accessible by a series of steps, a cable car, or by riding traditional donkeys, the Old Port provides a picturesque landscape, a relaxed and authentic atmosphere, featuring a collection of waterfront tavernas, shops, and cafes.

  • Nea Kameni - After a scenic 20-minute sail in the heart of the Caldera, we reach our first destination, Nea Kameni, the volcanic gem nestled in the embrace of the Aegean Sea near Santorini, is a testament to nature’s raw beauty and the captivating allure of geological wonders. This small island, born from the depths of ancient volcanic activity, exudes a mystique that enchants all who set foot on its rocky shores. In the islet of Nea Kameni you will find the famous Volcano of Santorini. Take some time to walk around and feel the volcanic energy. The dramatic landscape and the dark cliffs sculpted from lava rocks will capture your heart. Make sure to hike to the rim of the crater and admire the unique view. Please note that the hiking is done on your own and there is no guide with you, so you must take care of your safety.

  • Palea Kameni - Our next stop is the neighboring Palea Kameni island, the popular destination famous for its Hot Springs. Born from the remnants of a volcanic eruption in 1600 BCE, the island is a testament to the forces that shaped the Aegean landscape. Dive into the thermal waters that are full of sulfur, iron and other volcanic ingredients and enjoy their healing properties on your skin and muscles.
Please note that the sulfur in the water might leave a stain on light-colored swimwear.

  • Thirassia - Our last destination is the beautiful island of Thirassia that used to be a part of Santorini before the massive eruption in the 16th century BC. In striking contrast to Santorini’s crowded streets, Thirassia has remained surprisingly undeveloped retaining its traditional character. Discover its picturesque beauty and enjoy its tranquility as you wander around the winding alleys with the Cycladic houses. In the main village of Manolas (capital city) you will taste the authentic local gastronomy and wine in one of the traditional taverns.

  • Santorini Old Harbor - After the hike and swim, relax on the boat as you sail back towards the Old Port of Santorini. Enjoy the sea breeze, the scenic views and immerse yourself in the magic of Santorini’s maritime traditions with our traditional boat tour—a seamless blend of history, natural beauty, and the warmth of Greek culture.

Great price, good value, highly recommend it! - The boat driver was very kind, generous, and you can tell that he is a very experienced and good at the job. He even helped comfort our child when he was upset about not being able to swim in the hot spring--he is not experienced in swimming enough. We hiked in the volcano island and the view is amazing. This is very much appreciated because we took a way more expensive cruise the day before but even was not allowed to get off the boat to hike on the volcano--even though it says that we would visit the volcano. We chose this 4-hour tour because we only had that much time before departing from the island so it suits our schedule very well. If you have more time, I would recommend considering choosing the 6-hour one offered by the same company so you have more time on the volcano, swimming in the hot spring, and eating lunch at the second island. This 4-hour one is great but feels a little rushed. We still had a good experience and highly recommend it!

If you want a peaceful, relaxing cruise to some the Santorini's most beautiful locations, without the crowds, this is it - This was an exceptionally good boat cruise, with only 12 people on a lovely greek fishing boat. The staff member from INV gave us some excellent advise to take the first boat of the day at 9.30, which would ensure we would be at each location before the larger boats, and therefore, enjoy the Volcano walk, the Hot Springs and the lunch hour on Thirassia without the crowds. This advice proved very true, and we really appreciated it. This cruise was much cheaper than other cruises, but was just as good, if not better. We had a very relaxed morning, and throughly enjoyed the peaceful cruise on a lovely traditional wooden fishing boat. Well done to the staff at INV, and also the crew on the boat.

Great boat trip around Santorin - Our family boat trip around Santorini was a delightful experience. Visiting the volcano was fascinating, and it was amazing to see such a unique geological feature up close. The hot springs offered a relaxing break, and they were definitely a favorite for everyone. Thirassia was pleasantly tranquil, a nice change of pace with its traditional charm. Finishing the day with a glass of wine was just right, a pleasant touch to a day filled with fun explorations and family bonding. Definitely would recommend !

Very nice experience in a small group! - This tour was with a small group of people which was ideal for us. There were a few very large boats that followed us with hundreds of people, after we finished each activity, and we appreciated the quieter, more private experience that this tour provided. We recommended it.

Nice morning trip on a small boat with a small group - Communication before the trip excellent with what’s app, directed to the cable car meters from the companies town headquarters. Remember you need to pay for the cable car and the volcano walk which you will need cash for. Panagiotis the captain was superb, the boat was very nice if a little choppy at times on the open water! The volcano walk was very peaceful, the hot spring swim was warm but is deep and you need to swim constantly so make sure you are a competent swimmer. Thiras-Oias was a peaceful hour stop off and plenty of places to eat and drink on the beachfront. All in all a nice morning trip.
