A ride on the Pineapple Express - We had 6 adults and 5 kids, ages 3-8 for half a day. We had the best time. Our favorite stop was sand dollar cove. We anchored and stayed a good while so the kids could swim. The captain, Wesley let each of the kids steer the boat! Plenty of drinks and snacks to go around with music to tour around. Highlight of our weeklong vacation. They think of absolutely everything to make it fun and are great ambassadors for TCI.

Perfect Luxury Tour with all the Highlights! - We had the best tour with Lickson and our captain on the axopar. Perfect itinerary with some brief snorkeling, beautiful sandbar, iguana island etc. The rum drinks were fantastic. We were picked up right on the beach in front of our hotel Wymara. Drinks (alcoholic and not) were provided along with towels. We asked and brought our own snacks since we just did a half day afternoon tour. Would highly recommend this charter if you are looking for a luxury experience and hitting all the key places at your own pace!

Fantastic experience! - My husband and I were staying at the Ritz Carlton on Turks & Caicos and wanted to explore more of the area by boat so we booked the 4 hour Private 37' Axopar Charter boat for $2,400 + gas (about $3k all in before tip) starting at 8:30am. It showed up exactly on time and the boat looked brand new it was in such good condition. Our guides, Charles & Tarique, were professional, fun, and very helpful. We had 4 stops during our experience: 1. Sandbars - we asked to see the beautiful sandbars you see all over the internet and they delivered! There were tons of shells (which our guides help collect & clean for us), crystal clear waters, and a pristine strip of sand we were able to explore. They suggested doing this stop first to avoid having to share with other tour boats so we had it all to ourselves! 2. Snorkeling a Steam Boat Shipwreck - yes, this was as cool as it sounds. A great spot for novice snorkelers, this shipwreck was only in about 10-15 ft of water so it was very easy to swim to shore to fix your mask or take a break. The wreck is surrounded by lots of pretty fish and the location of the wreck is right next to a secluded beach with small picturesque sand cliffs. There are lots of stone stacks along the cliffs if you want to leave your mark. 3. Iguana Island & Half Moon Cay - we stopped at Iguana island and walked through the brush to get to Half Moon Cay for some swimming. We did get to see lots of iguanas (which will charge but not actually attack you) but make sure you bring thick soled sandals since the terrain is a little rougher than just sand to get to the beach on the other side. Of all the stops, this was our least favorite because it was a bit crowded, there was some trash scattered around that had been left over from other tourists, and the sand was hot and uneven to trek through to get to the beach. Even still, we were glad we saw it. 4. Snorkeling the Reef - this was amazing. If you enjoy snorkeling and want to see some beautiful coral and colorful fish, this is the place to go. It’s apparently the 3rd largest reef in the world and it’s teeming with wildlife. Just be prepared, we did see a nurse shark (about 5 ft long). It completely ignored us but it was still a bit scary when it came out of nowhere unexpectedly. Seriously this is some of the best snorkeling you’ll ever get to do… we even thought it was better than the reef in the Maldives and rivaled the snorkeling we did in Bora Bora. Lastly, a note on our guides (Charles & Tarique) - they went above and beyond! They took pictures, collected our shells, helped clean a giant conch shell we found, played great music, and continuously checked in on us to make sure we were having a good time. They provided us with cold drinks, fresh water rinse offs, towels, and were fun to chat with. They were knowledgeable about the area, answered all our questions, and were happy to pivot when we asked to change our last destination (originally they planned to take us to the floating tiki bar but we don’t drink and asked for a different plan so they took us to the reef). They were also very helpful when my snorkeling mask leaked and I struggled to get onto the boat (the ladder is tougher to climb than you think when it’s in the water). They also had a very calming reaction when we saw the shark and I got a bit scared. Most notably, when they saw dolphins, they pointed them out and slowed the boat so we could watch them jump in the wake - it was amazing! If you are debating which charter to take for a 1/2 day of adventure, we highly recommend this company and suggest you request Charles & Tarique as your guides!
