Suas águas são profundas e de um verde escuro carregado, refletindo o alto dos pinheiros que se alternam com o colorido das azaléias no inverno e o azul das hortênsias no verão. Por toda sua margem existe um passeio florido, podendo-se andar a pé. Porém a maior atração fica por conta dos pedalinhos, que dão ao lago um alegre e movimentado colorido.
