With it the orchards and aromatic plants were watered to delight the senses.

• Alcazaba - The Alcazaba, “la Qasba” is the fortress and military base of the Alhambra. It was strategically built to defend the Nasrid dynasty from any attack or Christian threat. The views that can be seen from its towers leave the visitor speechless.

• Palace of Carlos V - The Palace of Carlos V is a Christian construction. It began to rise at the beginning of the 16th century. At this time, a new artistic style came to the Alhambra with force: the Renaissance. Never far from criticism, this palace is one of the symbols of the Reconquest and the triumph of Christianity.
