Take a city tour bus street are challenging - This is one of the best option to move around some of the neighbourhoods, in particular Albayzin and Sacromonte, up quite steep hills. Those two areas are up the hill, narrow streets with traffic, bicycles and runners, in addition to pedestrian. We were shocked that very few people were not using walking sticks. Main recommendation, take you walking sticks with you. Unless your are very fit, those are a must even in Alhambra.

Bad experience - Audiogyide German is unusable, mostly instead of German announcement is in English. The same goes for Russians. Texts and sights don't go together. The box is so clapped you can't hear anything.

Not worth the time - Don’t waste your time. Grumpy employees bumpy Disneyland type bus that the locals and tourists must hate. Nobody tells you that you need to purchase headsets in order to hear any information about what you are seeing. Luckily for us some passengers gave us their extra set to share. Driver did everything to let you know he did NOT enjoy his job.

Do not book. - If you book this I suggest you also make a dental appointment and one for your chiropractor too. We bought the trip online and received a QR code as proof of purchase. On getting on the bus we were then given a paper till receipt which the driver ripped in half and said the tour lasted 1 hour 40 minutes. We got on at stop 4 and ‘hopped off’ at stop 8 for lunch. As the driver had torn our receipt in half I put it in a nearby bin. On getting back on at stop 8 the next driver, a young female asked for our tickets! I showed the QR code but was told this was no proof of payment. She said ‘it was impossible’ to board without the till receipt. The next bus driver said the same. We then had to pay again to complete the trip! The comfort level on these busses is beyond awful. No seat padding or suspension on a journey over cobbled roads.

Do not recommend anyone use this hop on hop off tour company. - We were on the Norwegian Prima. The Spanish authorities closed the Port due to extreme weather with four inches of rain and flooding expected. They recommended all residents to stsy at home. The storm required thousands to be exacuated. The hop on hop off bus would not refund our money because we didn't cancel with 24 hour notice.

Life’s too short. - Worst ‘tour’ ever. No commentary. Bus waited for 30 minutes at one stop, 10 minutes at another. No reason given. Uncomfortable. Save your money or give it to charity! Total rip off. Better to walk! We left the trip early as did other people.

Too much waiting before you can climb - Very disappointed. We had booked for the day the Hop-on, Hop-off...Many visitors to the Alhambra which creates a long wait. Moreover, it is the driver who checks the tickets and registers them, still a lot of time wasted. Then, at the San Cristobal station where we got off, no way back up two hours later, again too much waiting because the tourist train was full. We had to take a taxi. Avoid if you want to visit several places in the city in one day

NO NO NO! - The bus stops are sometimes hard to find and there are always no staff there. The train runs extremely jerky and because it is so tight, it becomes tight from a size of 1.65, over 1.80 you can only sit here very folded and uncomfortable. I got to a stop where it said it was going between. 1 and 2 p.m. garnix. Then a train arrived, but immediately the information that it was the only one until 2 pm and that it did not lead to the Alhambra. Some of the stops were then cancelled due to a closure in the city, but the driver did not give any information about this. All the passengers were unsettled. Almost all guests then got off somewhere at stop 9 or 10, because it should be in max. 15 minutes the next train coming. The employee there was only there for arrival, after which she disappeared. I waited there 50 minutes for the next train! Three trains passed through, they were rented to a wedding, but the first one that came then was full and allegedly there was no room. The driver tried again and found another one for me; there is nothing to sit down at the stop, so for older people or people who can't stand for long it's an imposition. The train then also went to the Alhambra and happened at almost every stop, which is also stated in other reviews: long line and no place on the train. Besides, it feels like it takes forever to continue every time. This HoHo operation is the world’s worst and weakest I have experienced in all my travels around the world. Def. NO recommendation.

Joke!!!! - Don't fool yourself thinking it's hop on. Hop off. Once you get off, you ain't getting back on! Tightly packed, hugely uncomfortable, and rude staff!! It lets you navigate the city, but DO THE FULL LOOP first BEFORE getting off If I could hive zero I would!!!
