• Los Cahorros - In this tour you will have the chance to enjoy nature with an expert mountain guide who will adapt the route according to your needs and what you like most. Do not worry about feeling tired, we will also have small breaks during the day. There are different alternative paths and the length may vary but take into account it will involve around 7 km (3h 30min at the destination). In summer, you will even have the chance to a swim in the cold water of the river!

This excursion offers you the opportunity to indulge in nature’s beauty under the guidance of a specialized mountain expert, who will modify the path to cater to your preferences and requirements. Fatigue will not be an issue, thanks to the periodic rest stops planned throughout the day. There are several detour possibilities and the journey’s length may differ. However, it is worth noting that it will approximately cover a distance of 7 kilometers. In the hotter months, there is an opportunity to cool off in the river’s fresh water!

We will leave Granada by van and head toward the town of Monachil. Our hike begins at ‘Cahorros by the river’ leading up to the longest bridge, from where we continue upstream along the river’s left side.

Soon we will reach a vast open space providing a visually stunning view of Cerro Huenes, ‘Los Pollos’ and ‘Cerrajón’. This trail leads us further upward in no time, this elevation provides a remarkable overhead view of Los Cahorros. Finally, we will find ourselves back in Monachil. Your return to Granada is scheduled for roughly 2 pm.
