Exciting - Challenging and exciting. Julio was an excellent guide who explained and assisted us through the difficult sections of the hike. Would thoroughly recommend.

Scenic and exhilarating hike with top-notch guided - Our hike at Los Cahorros de Monachil with Julio delivered everything that I was hoping for...an escape from the city, fresh air, a physical challenge, a sense of accomplishment, and an opportunity to enjoy nature at its finest...forests, meadows, flowers, mountains, and river. The walk along the river was both challenging and exhilarating. Julio was attentive to our safety. He adapted the pace to our group's needs and coached us on how to navigate the narrow path along the river safely. Julio was personable and engaging. He shared his knowledge of plants, animals, interesting facts and stories about the area. Hiking within a smaller group made the experience peaceful, serene, and enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful walk - Julio was really knowledgable about the origins of the trail . It was a short drive from the city in a mini van. Then started the climb above the Canyon for the most magical views . Most of the way was marked by a rough path so not too difficult. After the descent the walk followed the rapids of the river , sometimes the ledges were narrow but handles had been set into the rock faces and it was fun crossing the wooden bridges in the Valley.Great way to start the day - back in Grenada hungry for lunch .

Interesting and beautiful home with a great guide - We had an excellent time hiking. The views were beautiful and clambering along the rocks by the river was so much fun. Two teenage boys really enjoyed it too. Our guide was relaxed and considerate. It was a highlight of our trip to Granada

A must do hike in the mountains above Granada - An excellent hike. The guide, Marcello, was great…communicative, friendly, and took lots of pictures for us which he sent on soon after the hike was over. The views were fantastic and there were a couple of hairy bits which got the adrenaline going and added to the interest.

Non-difficult family hike - Several hikes possible depending on duration and difficulty. The shortest of 1h30 is not difficult, 3 small suspension bridges and passes next to the large suspension bridge with a beautiful waterfall so it is possible to pass over it and retrace your steps. We were not wet (at water level in April) and no crawling. I advise.

Yes we could - This is a challenging but if you are fit, rather slim and have no balance problems a very interesting and breathtaking tour. The guide is very competent and looks after and helps the participants all the time. Since we are both close to 80 we were very proud that we could make it, but as one of the other participants stated quoting former president Barack Obama 'yes we can'.

Not a walk in the park! - The scenery was beautiful and the guide was great. However, I would not recommend this trip for someone who is scared of hights. I think we should have gotten more information - I expected this to be an easy walk but it was actually technically challenging. Bring good shoes so you don't slip. Don't bring a big backpack as you will do some climbing. Don't bring small kids. The guide did an excellent job getting us through some really trick parts.
