Amazing hike - I had the best hike with Jamie. It was quite challenging on the way up, but that’s also a good excuse to stop and check out the views! Jamie was very informative about the area and his dog, Kai was an adorable addition. We had a variety of weather so be prepared for a change in temperatures and wear sun screen! I really enjoyed this hike and would definitely do it again in another season to see how the Sierra Nevada changes.

Excellent hike - We had a great time! This is a great way to get out of the busy city and enjoy the beautiful landscape. We drove about ~45 minutes up into the Sierra Nevada mountains, and then hiked through the afternoon. We left Granada at 9 am and got back around 4. The hike was moderately strenuous with some steep climbs at ~9000 feet. Poles, hats, and gloves were provided. The views were great, and we spotted mountain goats and vultures. We saw no other hikers the whole time, so it was very peaceful.

Discovery - The views were beautiful. The attendant provided us with the necessary equipment. Especially since there was still a lot of snow.
