Discover some of the best views of the Sierra Nevada mountains surrounding Granada, and enjoy breathtaking panoramas of the old city from secret viewpoints.
On the tour, travel by 4x4 vehicle along trails that date back over a thousand years, from the time of the Arabs, towards the towering peaks of the nearby mountains north of the city. Reach an elevation of 2500 meters-8000 feet, for amazing views of the highest peaks in the Iberian peninsula, and enjoy a drink in a panoramic mountain hut.
Explore the north face of the Sierra Nevadas to see the highest peaks on the Iberian Peninsula, climbing to heights of more than 3,000 meters, including the highest peak in the Iberian peninsula, Mulhacen which is named after one of the last kings of the Alhambra. Learn about the geology, biology and history of this region where Arabs, and Visigoths lived. Finally, visit a mountain hut where you can enjoy a typical Andalusian meal (costs not included).

Excellent experience! - The seven hour tour absolutely flew by with the breathtaking scenery of the area and the commentary provided by our guide Jamie. We learnt a lot about the local area's geography, history, and wildlife. To top it all off, we caught a beautiful (and very 'instagrammable') sunset from an incredible lookout point, and followed it up with some excellent Spanish food. Would recommend!

Day trip to the Mountains - This is an excellent tour where we were taken up to the Sierra Nevada Mountains just outside of granada. We had a chance to see numerous types of plants, many types of herbs growing wild and far reaching views of lakes and mountains. Was very beautiful and finished off with a nice lunch and drinks at altitude. Great day spent.

Genuinely fantastic - with a great guide! - This tour was absolutely fantastic. As mentioned by so many other enthusiastic reviews - the views are stupendous. Unlike some other mountain ranges - where mostly you can just see, say, one other mountain - in the Sierra Nevada you can see for miles and miles. We went up to the highest point that private vehicles are allowed, and then a stroll further up, to 2,600 metres. Jamie, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, stopping often and pointing out so many things of interest: natural, scientific, geological, wildlife etc. Oh and the vehicle was both comfortable and well equipped for tackling dirt roads up the mountain. It was alarming to hear, though, that climate change is affecting the Sierra Nevada faster than in some other places (there is scientific research based there because of this).

Great day in the mountains. - What a brilliant day. If you want to experience the Sierra Nevada this is the perfect trip. Daud our guide was a really passionate mountain man whose enthusiasm for the place, way of life, wildlife and scenery shone through. We had some great stops for stunning views, picked wild almonds and experienced a little of what it takes to live in these beautiful mountains. We had a lot of laughs with our fellow travellers, who like us were clearly loving the day. Daud was a great guide, driver and so knowledgeable also a great sense of humour which all appreciated. Highlight of our Andalusian trip...

Great day out in nature - This was an amazing day out to explore the Sierra Nevadas. It is perfect to see a lot without having to hike for hours and without having to navigate the bus system. The views were stunning and the air is gorgeous and crisp. Definitely recommend if you have some free time in Granada.

Beautiful day in Sierra Nevada! - Daud gave us an amazing tour and an extremely memorable day. There was a terrific balance between time in the 4 x4, time outside and time at the restaurant for a great lunch!

Fantastic Nature getaway while in Granada - My fiancee and I took a tour of the Sierra Nevada, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The trip was not only fun but also comfortable, with plenty of opportunities to relax and soak in the stunning scenery. Daud our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, sharing fascinating insights about the region's topography, wildlife, and history. I learned so much, and the way he explained everything made the geological features easy to understand.
The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, from the majestic mountains to the lush valleys. Every stop along the way felt carefully chosen to offer the best views and photo opportunities. The tour was well-paced, allowing us to fully enjoy each spot without feeling rushed.
