The Best Dinner in Granada - This was the perfect Granada early evening event working with a chef and learning the real life tricks and tips to a perfect Spanish meal. This was a hands on experience with the chef allowing us to do as much (or not) as we wanted and answering all of our queries. Not only did make the winter version of Gazpacho, Tortilla de Patatas, Paella, and Crème Catalans, but we learned how to make these dishes with simple ingredients and the variances we can make to each of the dishes. We finished with the meal we made. Truly fantastic experience.

Cook Granada! - We had a great experience! The class took place at a restaurant, which was a beautiful venue. The food was a potato and onion tortilla, salmorejo, paella, creama catalana and sangria. The recipes were fairly simple and it felt like food we could genuinely make at home. The recipes were all very tasty and left us the perfect level of full! The wine was free flowing. The host was very friendly and had a great sense of humour. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the class to anyone coming to Grenada. In response to an earlier comment, there is a bathroom at the restaurant and you can wash your hands in there. You also have paper towel to constantly wipe your hands. We had no issues with the hygiene.

Spanish cuisine in Granada - Excellent Spanish cuisine with Tommaso. We prepare typical dishes such as salmon and potato tortilla as starters, a delicious paella and, finally, a Catalan cream. All accompanied by a great sangria. Tommaso is very prepared and very friendly.

Good, but beware - When we arrived, they didn't have our booking and insisted that it started at 8pm, not 6 pm. My booking confirmation clearly stated 6 pm so they rushed to set up and provide the class for just the two in my group. There was a very large group booked at 8 pm, so our "teacher", Tommy, had to set us up in a small upstairs room. Tommy was bit frazzled by the situation, but did a good job working with us. He's a really hard working and made the best of it. All the food was very good and the experience was fun for us, overall. I do want to point out that there was some questionable sanitation practices happening. There was no sink or running water in our room. We never washed our hands before starting or during the process, including after handling raw chicken. There was no emphasis on knife techniques as the description states and we had to be the ones to monitor if the raw chicken knife and cutting board were being used on raw vegetables, etc. It was a little panic inducing if you know anything about salmonella. We kept wondering if we'd have food poisoning the next day, which did dampening our overall enjoyment. If you can look last that, then the recipes are great and you will learn about Spanish dishes. You get to eat everything you make and Tommy even gave us some to take home.
