Visiting Granada is not complete without immersing yourself in the breathtaking sunset in Sierra Nevada at an elevation of over 2,500m. The experience brings forth feelings and sensations that are indelible. Strolling during twilight along a brief trail with awe-inspiring landscapes amidst the natural surroundings of this distinct natural park, situated at the top of the peninsula, is truly memorable. We depart from Granada in a van and then journey 39 km to the furthest point permitted for vehicles on the Sierra Nevada peaks. Along the way, we pause at points to appreciate the splendid scenery. We reach our destination and embark on a 10-minute hike through a gorge to marvel at the spectacular sunset. If fortune favors us, we may even get a glimpse of the inhabitants of this area, such as the mountain goat, wild horses, foxes, or golden eagles. It’s also a perfect spot for splendid pictures, which we’ll capture for you using our professional camera.
