Exceptional hike - We had a memorable time with Kevin. The organization is perfect and kind. The hike was adapted to the family level while including breathtaking views. Time to rest, admire, and take family photos in peace. Kevin is fond of anecdotes and winks: friendly and attentive to the needs of the group. We are equipped for hiking, batons, backpack, water and snacks. An investment without regret that I will make again without hesitation.

Epic private hike - Jon was a fantastic guide. Excellent communication from him and Kendra, making planning and preparation straightforward from info and reservations, in the weeks leading up to the hike, and finally the day before. On time pick up at our hotel, easy entrance to GC National Park. We were well and expertly equipped at the trail head. Poles, packs, hydration, snacks, etc., and a really nice lunch midway on the hike. Tasty and healthy fuel we needed to hike back up to the rim. Jon was very knowledgeable about hiking and the Canyon. As it was a private hike, he adjusted to our physical abilities. Hiked down to Skeleton Point and back for a total of almost 7 miles. As a distance runner, I definitely had the stamina for the hike, but move at a different pace from my mid-20’s children. Jon made appropriate adjustments. He also took beautiful photos of us. This was our first visit to this part of the country and we had only one day to spend at GC. This was undoubtedly the right way to spend our day. Being down in the Canyon is a different experience from looking down from the rim. All of us would do this again. Thanks Jon!

Amazing trip down south kaibab trail - Jon and his wife were great at communicating with us about the hike, pickup details and what we needed to bring. He provided all that was needed: water, Gatorade, snacks, backpacks, poles and a great lunch! He gave us lots of tips about how to use our walking sticks and where to capture epic shots ( which he was masterful at taking for us)). We did 2000 ft down and back on south kaibab trail . Will never forget this experience!

YES! DO IT!!! - Jon, owner and our guide, made this experience a one in a million! This man loves his job, and KNOWS the canyon. We learned geology, history, and correct hiking techniques. The photos he provided of us in canyon were stunning! Lunch was delicious, peaceful, and oh that view! The gear he provided was top notch. I didn’t even know I had a pack on my back. Jon gets to know his hikers and plans according to their abilities. I never felt rushed or pushed too hard. He is encouraging and patient and helps others along the trail, a testament to his character. We are a 67 year old couple in good shape, but not athletes. Thank you, Jon, for this phenomenal experience. You have given us the confidence to continue with challenging hikes in the future.

1010 experience - This half day tour was remarkable. Going in, we had no idea what to expect, but our tour guide Kevin (who is amazing) showed us the real beauty of the Grand Canyon. We hiked down as far as we were comfortable and capable of then hiked back up. We took many stops along the way as Kevin pointed out secret wonders of the canyon. The equipment we used was top of the line, including a snack bag that was the star of the show(besides the canyon itself). This tour is going to be an amazing memory that we will all look back on and smile about. Thank you Kevin!

Take this tour! - We had such a wonderful time on our tour with Kevin exploring the beautiful canyon. Our guide Kevin was excellent - professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating to our speed and physical capabilities. He made us feel safe and comfortable (ample food, water, and breaks provided as needed) while also taking us to parts of Grand Canyon that we would not have done ourselves. He also tailored our route to our physical capabilities and the distance we traveled ended up being perfect. Most importantly, he made sure we were having fun at every turn, and we loved hearing his stories and facts about Grand Canyon. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore the canyon more than 99% of visitors.

An Amazing Grand Canyon Experienxe - Our day with Jon was amazing! He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He had all the gear we needed - hiking sticks, backpacks, food and water. He also took amazing pictures of our family in all the perfect spots! We hiked the last hour with headlamps and it was such an adventure. A truly incredible experience we won’t forget!
From the kids: The dinner he made was the most delicious meal he could have made. The views that he showed us were so mesmerizing to see.

A family that loves an adventures - this is the trip for you! Worth the price for a private tour! - This tour was more than I could have ever imagined. We were celebrating my 40th birthday with a trip with our kids (10 yr old, 12 yr old and 14 yr old) as we love to experience fun adventures together! The thought that our tour guide Jon puts into each tour is something that you want to make sure you experience. The price is well worth it as all you have to do is show up! Snacks and drinks, backpacks, hiking poles, an amazing meal at the bottom of the hike were all included. Anything that you could think of, he had prepared for us. It really was the experience of a lifetime! The pictures that we got on this private tour was something that you wouldn't get otherwise. Jon knows exactly where the perfect photo spots are to stop and capture these breathtaking moments in photos. We can't recommend this enough!

Highlight of the vacation - Kevin was an amazing guide. He kept the whole trek completely personalized, made sure we were all having fun, went at our pace, taught us alot, and really contributed to what will be lasting memories. This tour is pricey, but worth every penny.
