- Dolswim - Meeting time at 6:45 a.m. in Black River. At 7 a.m. you will leave on one of our speed boats for an unforgettable encounter. You will observe wild dolphins in their natural environment. If the conditions are right, you can also swim with them, accompanied by a skipper (max 2 persons at a time). We will first explain you the rules for a respectful encounter with the dolphins. The first part of this excursion ends with a snorkeling on the coral reef.
Then it is time to go observe the whales. With the help of a hydrophone, our crew will try to localize them. Sperm whales can be observed all year round while humpback whales can be observed between June and October. Water and soft drinks will be served during the trip.
Return around 12:30 p.m.
We guarantee a 60% chance to see the whales.

- Wheelchair: the wheelchair cannot be taken on board, but we can carry the guest onto the boat. Please advise weight. Wheelchair guests will not be taken into the water. Exclusive excursion recommended for these guests

Great experience and great guides! - The trip was very nice and a great experience to watch tge Dolphins and Spermwhales out in the ocean. The tour was well organized and safe. Pascal and Julian our guides on the boat were very friendly, knowledgable and sensitive and respectful to the keep distance to the animals. They did share interesting facts and information on Dolphins and whales.
Overall well worth the money and would
recommend to anyone.
One side note on the whale watch; There were many boats out there with people jumping into the water to get close to the whales even tried to touch them (hate to say this but mostly chinese tourists). Despite a law that forbids to swim with the whales as they are very shy creatures - mostly mothers with baby whales, it appears nobody cares about that and allows numerous groups to ‘hunt’ them in the waters with big underwater cameras. Bad side of human recklessness towards nature. Would be great if there was more restrictive enforcement by the local authorities to maintain a species that is very rare and threatened to be more and more reduced in population!

Simply the Best and most ethical tour - A fabulous trip even if the weather wasn’t great for us. Some magical moments seeing a baby sperm whale and, at another point, its mother.
Great to be able to see these majestic animals and also a pod of spinner dolphins.
The law means that we have to be respectful of these wonderful creatures and DolSwim was exactly that. A very knowledgable skipper who knew just where to be and to maneuver his boat without upsetting the animals as well as being highly respectful of all the laws.
A great trip with the best company out there.

Unique, great; animal protection gives food for thought after the activity - It was an unforgettable experience. First we were able to watch sperm whales up close. The operator does not allow swimming with whales. It is illegal. Which is a good thing, for the sake of the animals. Some people seem to value their Insta post more than that.
After that we snorkeled and dived with dolphins. I got within one meter of the dolphins. But not everyone could do that. No cold drinks or food were served. But cold drinks were available. At the end there was a little snorkeling session on a reef. The staff were very friendly and competent.
Unfortunately the trip ended much earlier than the stated time after 3 hours. However, everything that was offered was seen, so that was okay.
Some passengers hung over the edge of the boat during the trip and vomited.

Lucky trip and good expirence! - Very lucky trip!! For dolphins there are a lot of people seeking and following. So when they diving into the water, the dolphins will disapper. For the whales we saw around 6 ! Very close and shocked! We will suggest Dolswim!

Great trip, worth every penny - We had a great crew, saw sperm whales and then spinner dolphins, and could swim with dolphins, then a snorkel at the reef, with beautiful fishes. Great trip. I would recommend.

Great day spent - Very professionally managed. We had a great trip specially the whale sighting was outstanding. Unfortunately hardly any dolphins but multiple boats n people in the sea. Also no food in the entire trip. Would have loved to give 5 stars

Terribly bad service, you don't know where you stand at all, it's just one big disappointment dealing with you - Reserved and paid well in advance. Shortly before the date, the excursion will be canceled and your money will be refunded. Difficult to book an excursion then. I will NEVER do business with TripAdviser again, booked an excursion twice, both paid for and both canceled just before the date.
