Grandson met the Lego Master Builder!!!! - My grandson had a great time. He loved the movies, rides, building with legos in multiple locations, playing on indoor playground. But his most absolute best thing EVER was meeting Thad, the Master LEGO Builder. Thad was so kind to him. He showed him some of his creations, explained the fun technique he used in the Mona Lisa. He spent time with him and it just made the LegoLand experience the best ever!!!

Fun for the kiddos - Really great for ages 12 and under. The adults also loved the small-scale miniatures of Dallas/ Fort Worth. It was perfect activity for different aged cousins!

Lego Lovers Must Do In Dallas/Fort Worth - We visited Legoland Discovery Center/Dallas on June 16th, 2023. We arrived at opening and stayed all day! We visited Legoland in California in February, so we weren’t expecting the discovery center to be as nice and have as many activities as it did. Every single employee was so nice and attentive and I wish I’d written down names. That’s why I added the date, so maybe they can still be recognized. Coming back to the area in December and we’ll be back!

Still favorite after 10 years - Since opening it is one of our favorite activities in DFW area. It has changed over the years but thankfully it is still kids favorite. I am taking one star for outdoor area with splash pads being closed or I should say not functioning properly which is a bummer in TX summer.

Bust - So our visit was a bit of a bust with several contributing factors (not wholly on Legoland). Also did you know that Legoland doesn't accept Lego gift cards? News to me. Our son is not quite 2 but we had planned our visit here specifically for the splash pad as it is about the right size for a small toddler. My husband had scoped it out a few days before (we are local) and confirm with the person working that the splash pad opened at 10am. Great, that would give us about 2 hours of play time before we would have to leave for lunch and nap time. We arrive at the mall about 9:45AM and there is a line already to get in. Not a big deal. My husband and my tickets with tax were a little more than $56. Our son was free since he is less than 2. When we finally saw an employee we ask about the splash pad to be told that is actually doesn't turn on until 11AM. So now we have to figure out what to do with a toddler in a space that isn't geared for toddlers for an hour. And since we had planned on the splash pad I have a big bag of beach towels, swim diapers, swimsuits, it was a hassle to carry that we eventually rented a locker for $8.00. Honestly if we were told that the splash pad opened at 11AM instead of 10AM, we would not have come. As far as the inside, the miniland had potential, but almost all of the interactive buttons were broken. The oil one was the only one that worked. So that did not hold his attention. The playground was for 4-12 year olds, and the Duplo slide was well...not fun. The ninja light up thing wasn't working, and he obviously was too small for all of the rides. The saving grace was the car ramp because he did enjoy that for about 15 minutes. We decided at about 1030AM to go outside and go down the splash pad slides, it was dry and much more exciting that the Duplo slide inside. 1045AM I sent my husband inside to grab the bag so we could switch over to the swimsuit and swim diaper. Not even 30 seconds of the door shutting, the splash pad turned on. The employee did apologize saying he didn't realize anyone was outside...but come on. Look first? My son had a great time for the 20 minutes he got to play in the splash pad, until it started raining and they had to shut it off. My husband was trapped outside in the rain because he wasn't allowed inside wet...but couldn't get dry in the rain. Conundrum right? Overall, we won't be back until our son is older...maybe not ever. I think this might be best for say 6-8 year olds. Its not very large. Not the worst experience, but definitely not for young ones.

It's overpriced and ehhhh... - Super expensive for what you get. The two rides are fun but they are very short and have long lines. My kids spent more time in the play area than they did looking at the lego models. Not many unique hands-on experiences for the kids. This is our second time to visit Legoland and it may be our last. We have more fun building models at home than we did going to legoland.

Not worth it! - Prices went up by $10 but nothing added and splash pad closed. I was very disappointed for the price I paid. Then they were short employee and didn’t have pizza or chicken nuggets. Very crowded!

Very boring, kids were... - Very boring, kids were bored too. Nothing that impresses. It was more like a poor interactive museum than any other thing.

Is Customer Service Asleep at the Wheel? C'mon People, Please Pick up the Phone! - For the past month, I have been trying to purchase annual Legoland season passes as a Christmas gift for my children and their families who live in the Dallas area. There is no online gifting option because you need to upload individual mugshots for each family member to get passes. (It wouldn't be a gift if they knew I needed their pictures for an ID...and I don't live in the area.) Plus, the site for the purchase of combo season passes is hardly intuitive. I called customer service repeatedly and no one picks up the phone. No one responds to the voice mails I left explaining my situation. No one replies to the email messages I sent using the site. I know your busy...so is everyone else. Please fix this problem before Christmas. Thank you.

DO NOT have a birthday party here - This was by far the worst birthday party that we have ever had. I highly do not recommend anyone to have a party here. The party coordinator wasn’t there when all the guests arrived. I was standing around for 30 min with the cakes and holding all the gifts from the families until they finally found a manager. Finally when the party room opened, which was later than what i scheduled it for, nothing was prepped. Nothing was decorated as promised. There were 2 young men running the party, and it seemed that that it was their very first time. They had no common sense as to how to pass out the drinks and pizza. They had a hard time cutting the cake. Everything was so slow, and not engaging for the kids. The kids were bouncing off the walls. The only positive, is the Lego master that demonstrated how to make the Lego was great. After the party they said they would bring everything out to the car and just to pull up in the parking lot. They did not bring the 8 pizzas that were untouched, nor did they bring me the custom made cakes that we had left over, which was a lot. They also gave the birthday kids a box for a custom made Lego person, but it was an empty box. It seems that a place that advertises parties and costs this much money would have a much better structure/flow. I am shocked and frankly irritated that I spent this much money for such a disappointing experience.
