A tour to one of the most beautiful places in England - This tour did a great job of combining information about the lives of William and Dorothy Wordsworth with visit to the scenic places that were the basis for Wordsworth's poetry. I mention Dorothy as well as William because Gillian, our guide, made numerous references to Dorothy's journal to provide insight as to what they were thinking and doing when Wordsworth wrote his great poetry (with her support). Seeing the areas that inspired Wordsworth was wonderful because, even if one were uninterested in Wordsworth's poetry, the landscape is beautiful and unspoiled. This tour was a wonderful experience.

A Stroll and Sleeping in the Quiet Village - I stayed at William Wadworths house/Hotel back in June 1987 with two Dear friends of mine . I was driving for a occupation over the years part time . I walked around Grasmere one night looking at the antique shops and restaurants that were inside some of these bed & breakfasts hotels with smoke coming out from their fireplaces . This is a Very Cozy little village . I loved it a lot . Its so Peaceful and quiet with all its country Smells .
