Take the tour! - The Priorat tour was incredible. I mean like honestly unforgettable. Of the 8 days I stayed in Barcelona, this tour day was my favorite! I had Joan as my tour guide. He picked me up from my hotel and took me to three different (all incredible) wineries for a tasting. The first vineyard had wines from the early 2000s! The second vineyard has lunch with a wine pairing! We did the third and final wine tasting in a gazebo on the actual vineyard, right next to the vines. But the best part of the tour was Joan himself. Hands down, the best tour guide of any service I've ever received. Joan's knowledge and passion were palpable and breathtaking. It became clear very quickly that sharing his culture and love of wine was not just a job, but his life passion. If you're thinking about going on this, or frankly any other tour that this company offers, don't hesitate. It's worth every euro.

Great your with even better guide! - Joan was an amazing guide, very passionate and knowledgeable. He adjusted his discussion per each individual based on their wine knowledge. He provided a rich history of the region and the city we were visiting from. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in wine and wineries from enthusiastic expert to interested novice.

Friendly Experts providing First Class Experience - Joan was an excellent host and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. He guided us through the region, explained history of Barcelona and Priorat, and provided answers for all our questions. I would highly recommend using this service for anyone at any wine knowledge level.

Phenomenal Experience in Priorat! - Ivan was an absolutely fabulous guide on our private tour in Priorat. From our very first communication, he was quick to respond and thorough with addressing any of our questions. He arranged pickup near our Airbnb which made things super easy for pick-up and drop-off. He was super personable and his depth of knowledge regarding the history of the region and wine knowledge was exquisite. We appreciated the thoughtfulness in choice of which tastings we were taken to, as well as the bonus monastery tour that was included. The lunch at one of the wineries was also comprehensive and delicious. I highly recommend anyone looking for a small group or private tour coordinate with him as you will not be disappointed. I’d also note the value for the price was quite impressive!

Midwest Wine Lovers - Ivan was Outstanding, his knowledge of the wine region and history was awesome. He took us to 3 wineries and monastery. The tasing menu for lunch was excellent our group had the best day. He is so kind, helpful and caters to your needs. Excited to go back and schedule another trip!

Midwest Wine Lovers ❤️ - Ivan set the trip up. Very communicative. Picked us up, drove us to all the sites. We went to wineries, lunch, and a monestary. The wine was incredible, the food was top tier, and his knowledge of the area, wine, and history was amazing. This trip felt like a new experience. It was amazingly priced and he was fantastic.

Highlight of my trip to Barcelona - I booked a private tour from Barcelona to Priorat for my family with Wino Tours through Ivan, and Joan took us around for the day. It was a great trip visiting 3 different winemakers with different styles of wine. We visited Clos Obac’s winery in the morning, followed by lunch at Clos Figueras and a jeep tour after lunch to the vineyards with Sangenis I Vaque. Joan was very knowledgable and passionate about wine and the history of the region, and we all had an amazing time! If you are thinking of checking out Priorat wines, I definitely recommend a trip with them!

First class trip to Priorat - can we give six stars?! - We booked the trip as part of a long weekend in Barcelona. Although we had visited the city before, we hadn't explored the area around, and as keen wine enthusiasts, a visit to the Priorat region appealed.
Our guide Joan (pronounced Juan) contacted us the day before to confirm pick up point and time, and kept us updated when held up in traffic. Joan's knowledge of Barcelona (he's a keen Barca fan as well) and Catalunya as a whole is off the charts...as well as knowing a lot about wine!
We visited three wineries, the second of which we enjoyed a lovely lunch with pairings. All three wineries were pretty small and family run which made the visit even more special.
We headed back to Barcelona probably later than planned and were held up again because of an accident on the motorway, but Joan took us to our dinner reservation without an issue.
We 100% recommend this tour as a great way to see Priorat, it really was a perfect day.
