After admiring old and new lava flows we will proceed on foot to the inner part of old craters. The charming panorama and the picturesque scenery will give us the feeling of being on the moon.
After a short break, the hike will continue with a visit, carrying helmet and torch, inside a lava cave to admire a unique spectacle.
Walking through a luxuriant vegetation, we will finally admire the spectacular Valle del Bove.

What a memorable excursion... - This was a trip which was a highlight of our Catania trip. The guide was humble, caring and clearly knowledgeable about the geology of the area. The whole excursion was fun. Wholeheartedly recommend to any visors to the Catania area.

Great tour guide - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the volcano. She also was very engaging and quite entertaining. The cave and crater tour was amazing. We had so much fun despite the cold.

Great Excursion - Great experience. Our tour guide did a wonderful job telling us about the area. The hike was a good pace with beautiful views. I recommend this adventure for those who want to experience Mt. Etna for part of a day.

Beautiful trip on the living vulcano - We had a beautiful all day hiking trip with Elia. Everything was great,and although we had a quite windy day, it just added a plus to the experience.
So if you are keen on hiking, and maybe you want to discover the hidden/less known trails (and treasures) of Etna with a professional guide, I would 100% recommend this excursion :)

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! - they say that good morning is seen from the morning, but I do not think our guide (Elia) thought it when he found out that the seven enrolled in the morning tour on Etna on Sunday, October 27 were 7 women .. as a true professional he remained unfazed and thanks to his expertise, professionalism and sympathy we really learned a lot of curiosities and information about the volcano that we did not know before. he accompanied us on a beautiful (despite the fog) walk among the craters of the volcano and to the visit of a cave formed by lava where we entered armed with helmets and torches. we visited two sides of the volcano to see the landscape differences (one is definitely richer in vegetation) and we arrived at a sort of panoramic terrace from where we should have been able to admire the whole valley and the sea but a terrifying fog like PADANA, prevented us, will mean that we will return to fill this gap. And at the end of the trip there was a surprise from Elijah that we do not reveal but we can really define ... VERY TASTY!!!

Mt Edna tour - Very happy with the tour, the walking was at a easy pace to please the whole tour and our guild was very knowledgeable and theeeting point was easy to find.

Beautiful experience - This morning Elia accompanied us on this tour of Mount Etna, highly recommended! Top guide and even if the route is simple it is still an experience that we would absolutely re-do:)

Perfect for very low level fitness peoples wanting the Etna experience. - Guide lovely. Very knowledgeable. Very accommodating for low level fitness peoples. Ie advertising said moderate/medium and this stroll was very much low impact. Enjoyed fortified vino and cookies. Pick up from accommodation great.
