Just the best historical learning experience imaginable - 10/10 this was an amazing tour, as a bit of a history nerd I learnt so many new and interesting things from the amazing guide. My wife now wants to learn how to read hieroglyphics because of this tour! Honestly if you are a big history fan, or if you know relatively nothing about ancient history this is such an amazing tour to go on. With not only just a focus on the "greatest hits" like Egyptians, Romans and Greeks but a focus on so much more of what came before and after them! With insight from a trained archeologist, we are just waiting for more tours to become available before signing up.

Highly recommend if you love to know more about amazing things. - Totally recommend this experience! As a life-long fan of the British Museum, I loved the in depth knowledge and passion that Rossa bought to the exhibits. When it was over, the whole group agreed we could have stayed listening to him four HOURS more. A splash of humour too and a good eye for when everyone needs coffee and cake. My tips are: if you’re not good at standing for a while, grab one of the fold out stools when you go in. Also, take your own food, the museum has limited and spensy grub. Booking this for my mum - Mother’s/Father’s day taken care of! Enjoy.

The best guided tour ever! - Absolutely amazing tour, I’m still buzzing a day later. Rossa is an amazing tour guide. He uses various artefacts around the museum to illustrate the story of the development of humans and human civilisation. Rossa knows so much about each period he discusses and is such an entertaining and enthralling speaker. I could listen to him talking all day. He imparts so much information and has given me so much to think about and research. I really appreciated the way he focused on the human story and the various archaeologists and people involved in the stories. Rossa uses an iPad to share extra information which really enhances his talk. I want to address a previous review saying that you don’t get to see the artefacts for long. This is nonsense. Rossa is such a commanding presence that he really controls the space meaning people keep out of the way! The only artefact we couldn’t stand in front of was the Rosetta Stone because of its positioning and Rossa gave us time to get a better look at it later. You can of course always go back and look at things after the tour! The talk uses the artefacts as a way to explain the time period so is not always about the artefacts themselves The tour ended up taking around 6 hours including a couple of breaks so if you go take plenty of drinks and snacks. I absolutely loved it and would go again tomorrow. Worth every penny.

BRILLIANT - Although we were not able to do the full tour due to an incident in rhe Museum Rossa said we could come back for the full tour another day. We chose to stay anyway and it was brilliant. He was very knowledgable and passionate about his subject and the 5 and a half hours flew by. Would definitely recommend
