Wonderful experience with two real gentlemen. - Kevin the guide and Barrington the driver were absolute gems. They were polite, professional, helpful and really good fun. Kevin had some great history to tell us sprinkled with some interesting stories and his wonderful humour. Barrington was a real gentleman and a great driver. His coach was immaculate. I had a fabulous day because the tour was well thought out but the two staff members really made it a trip to remember. I will not hesitate to use Evan Evans again as the booking process and check in was seamless. I am looking for my next tour now! Thank you to all.

Excellent tour, excellent guide!! - Our guide Megan did a fantastic job!! She was very informative throughout the tour and spoke to each of us personally while on the bus to answer questions and tell us interesting details. I highly recommend her for as many trips possible. Her soft articulate voice made The tour relaxing and enjoyable. I mentioned that I we a pilot and she pointed out the RAF airport. Five stars for Megan and this wonderful tour!!

Enjoyable trip in beautiful places Surrounded by History - The whole trip was very enjoyable despite the rainy weather. It was fun travelling in a beautiful coutryside visiting places steeped in History. I also want to especially mention our guide Simon. He was very friendly, knowledgeable without being pompous and always very helpful. I wish him the very best ahead.

Enjoyable tour - Simon was exceptionally knowledgeable, clever and interesting. We learned a lot while visiting the sights. My husband is a tour guide himself and he was very impressed with Simon's presentation.

Blenheim Castle and Cotswold - We enjoyed our first drive out of London with a lot of information on the city and surrounding area. Arriving at Blenheim castle we were told where to enter and started our tour of the castle the stables and the museum of Winston Churchills life. We left the castle and headed to Bampton and were led by Godfrey to the set of many village scenes from Downton Abbey. We wish there was more time to tour the quaint village but were glad to see the area . We traveled to our final destination in the town of Burton- on - the - water where e had just enough time to eat a late lunch and shop in a sheep’s wool store. We found Godfrey informed and engaged in leading us through the day.

Our tour guide Phil was... - Our tour guide Phil was terrific. He was very knowledgeable and gave us interesting tidbits about the history of England and its language.. Unfortunately, the tour was marred by two separate things. First, some roads were closed which forced us to retrace our steps leaving us with less time than planned in the Cotswolds. It seemed that neither the driver nor Phil knew about this obstacle. Secondly, we arrived at Blenheim Palace which should have been the highlight of the tour only to find that they were closing at 4 pm instead of 5. This gave those of us who had purchased tickets a paltry 30 minutes for a tour that was supposed to take at least 1.5 hours. Again, Phil did not know about the change in hours at the Palace. I should think a refund of the palace ticket price would be in order. Janet Smith

Great guide, picturesque places - TLDR: Great tour guides/staff with abundant knowledge and wit. Beautiful scenery with some nice stops. Burford was not my jam, but might have been highlight for others. Downside: the unfortunately necessary time to sites did chew up a good chunk of time. Tour guide Simon and bus driver Rad were both excellent. I very much enjoyed Simon’s humor and knowledge of the region ( and his excellent tidbits of info on the origin of certain phrases). Tour was really quite great. However, as someone who hasn’t seen the Downton Abbey series, the first stop in Burford didn’t really add much to the experience, and did seem a bit intrusive to the locals. Time in Bourton-on-the-water was well spent with lunch and exploring some of the local shops. While quite “touristy” it still really is a very nice spot. Finally 2 hours at Blenheim castle was excellent. Grand is an understatement. The drive to and from places was very enjoyable and scenery was beautiful. Only downside is the amount of time you spend in the coach is unavoidable given the distance to these sites from London.
