10s across the board 100% would recommend - This tour is amazing! It’s an authentic cultural experience where you can indulge in all the wonderful Caribbean and African foods Brixton has to offer. Obi is a fantastic host and tour guide, you will not be disappointed! Although I 100% LOVED the food, my favorite part of the tour was learning the history of Brixton and getting to see the people who maintain the heart and essence of what Brixton has been for so many years! I’m so glad I was able to join this tour and, if I ever get the chance, I would do it again!

Amazing Food & Culture Tour - Obi’s tour was referred to us by a friend. Honestly, I’ve never done a food tour before so I was a bit skeptical. Since Obi did have a lot of good reviews, we decided to give it a try and He DID NOT disappoint. As a Caribbean person, I can truly say the food was on point and the African dishes were equally as good. But what really did it for us was not just the food, but the stories behind the tour. From Obi’s personal story, to the story of Brixton. It was impactful and made the tour totally worth it. I give this a 5/5 and definitely recommend!

Obi is a real one. - Obi is such a treat. My wife came on the tour last week and recommended it. This week I took my parents. Obi took his time to explain the culture of the area, the markets, and allowed us to sample the foods. I also appreciated that he has the food already priced into the packages. Too may food tours are already expensive and they expect you to buy your own food. He also takes the time and acknowledges people’s birthdays on the tour. Last week, when my wife went, he got her a cake. This week, on our tour, he got another woman a cake for her birthday. Such a touch of personal professionalism. Keep going Obi. The world needs this energy.

Best Food Tour in London! - We happened to take this tour on our first full day in London and I already know it’ll be a highlight of our entire trip! Obi was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and passionate. The food was also incredible- my boyfriend has not stopped talking about the patties. We loved everything and will recommend this tour to everyone we know coming to London!

Go for the food but leave with new friends! - Food 10/10, Restrantuers 10/10, fellow food tourers 10/10, history and the stories along the way 10/10... but Obi y'all... 50/10. His tour was one of the most memorable of our trip to London. Throughout the tour several people in Brixton would greet Obi and he's clearly an adored fixture in the community... well deserved. We felt like we were walking around with a long-time friend. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Also special shout out to the Jamaican beef patty and the puff-puff!

Go rock on down to Electric Avenue! - First off: 100/10 would do it again! I knew I wanted to do a food market tour when I was in London, but I didn't want to do one surrounded by influencers with food that wasn't worth the price. I also wanted a food tour that was going to show me a part of London that the influencers wouldn't show you. So when I found a food tour that was in Brixton, I had to check it out! Obi is the top tier guide! You know you're on a good tour when the guide is from the neighbourhood--when they can give you history that you wouldn't necessarily get in a textbook or news article. Obi was so kind to give us stories from his life (still wish we could've seen your mom!) and painted a picture of everything that Brixton has gone through to be where it is today. Obi also made sure to take us to the best food spots. The amount of flavour and satisfaction you'll get with each bite can't be fully expressed. It was just enough food to keep you full by the end. Everything was eaten in gusto, and made you understand a little more of the culture that has thrived in Brixton. I'm still dreaming of that seafood curry and the puff puffs. What I liked the best was that Obi made the tour feel like a connection. We were able to sit down and actually chat with each other, learn about each other, and share stories. I always appreciate a small group setting because it allows for an appreciation of the experience and also solidifying the memory. I highly HIGHLY recommend doing this food tour with Obi. You're certainly getting your money's worth, but also leaving with a highlight memory. Check it out!

A fantastic tour you don't want to miss! - Obi was a fantastic guide, taking the small group I joined with around the Brixton market in a thoughtful and engaging way. Despite the rain, I had a delightful time, ate more than enough food, and learned so much about the historical significance of the market's African and Caribbean cuisine. Even on a group tour, he provided a top-notch personalized experience.

Incredible tour! - Touring Brixton with Obi was one of the highlights of our trip. We loved learning the history of the neighborhood and getting to see how rapidly it’s changing. He shares his personal experiences growing up there and took us to black owned businesses (and more!) that have survived and thrived from gentrification. Fascinating! And I haven’t even gotten to the food, which is so delicious. Literally rated one of the best things in my life! Don’t miss this tour!

Best Tour in London - We visited London as a family and wanted to do a food tour and learn more about the black experience in London. As an African American family, we loved learning about the mitigation of blacks from their native lands to London. This was such a treat and the food was AMAZING. We stayed after the tour to visit more stores and this made our day. This was our best experience in London. Obi is the real one. Book with him.
