During the stroll to your first site, your guide provides history-rich commentary that offers insight into the British monarchy’s illustrious reign. Stop at St. James’ Palace, which has played host to iconic royals including Princess Diana and Anne Boleyn, before you continue into St. James’ Park — a green lung formerly home to the Royal Zoo.

Stroll down The Mall, designed to represent a giant red carpet leading to Buckingham Palace, and pass by the home of Princes Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Clarence House.

  • Buckingham Palace - Then, approach the gates of Buckingham Palace, arguably the world’s most famous royal residence. Open for only two months a year, the opportunity to visit the State Apartments is a rare and exciting experience.

With an audio guide to direct your exploration, you’ll delve into the lavish chambers of the British Monarchy: marvel at the opulent décor and admire rooms swathed in sumptuous upholstery, chandeliers, and priceless art. Take this tour! - Our guide was very knowledgeable and humorous. He answered our questions and gave us some insight on the lives and history of the Royal families. We were taken to the front of the line for entry, which allowed us to avoid a long wait into the palace.

Buckingham Palace did not disappoint - Going inside the Palace was an experience in itself and I cannot believe it has taken me all these years to do it. The paintings. The ornaments, the chandeliers, the various different rooms were all just out of this world. It’s not surprise that this tour is always busy as it’s not often you can say you have been inside Buckingham Palace.

Teresa was lovely; You must take mental images only - Theresa our tour guide was fantastic, engaging, polite, informative and very entertaining with her witty banter. She was lovely! The tour was a bit if walking when entering the palace and very hot the first week of August when we went. Note: No pictures are allowed in the palace.

Great option to skip the lines at the palace - Well, organized and clear meeting spot. Guy did a good job of pointing out Two restroom spots. The palace tour is self guided. I recommend using the Buckingham Palace earphones instead of the single mono headphones provided on this tour. I had challenges with audio in the palace, and this could have been resolved Are using the palace headphones. Approved and recommended!

Good option if tickets are sold out and you don't mind over-paying. - The tour was nothing more than a walk to the Buckingham Palace. Stories were far and few in between, and guiding for 30 minutes was not the focus. Having said that, we needed to see Buckingham Palace today, and regular tickets were sold out. So, if tickets are sold out and you don't mind over-paying, this works.

Good tour. Can see the inside of the palace. - Good tour, but pricy for a short tour. Too rush for the guide portion, only 30 minutes. Could extend to an hour. The self guided part is fine. Beautiful palace.

Worth a visit - Short stroll up the road to the palace with our guide Lee who offered some fun and interesting insights. We were then escorted into the line to enter the Palace. You receive an audio tour at your pace of several state rooms. Beautiful interior and artwork— glad we went.

Skip this tour and just buy palace tour tickets directly. - The meeting point (Duke of York column) turned out to be very hard to locate. Address and post code provided took us elsewhere, and we wasted most of the time running around from one place to another. Eventually we ran into our tour operator at the ticket entrance to Buckingham Palace, where she was able to pass us the palace tour tickets. Palace tour is self-guided and is excellent.
