A fun morning! - This was such a fun way to see the changing of the guards. Our guide, Paul, was fantastic. He was funny and knowledgeable- leading us through a fun morning. I thought you just stood at the gates to watch, but it was so much more! Definitely worth doing the tour to learn some history and see the entire changing process.

a moving and thrilling experience - The weather was damp, dreary, and rainy, but the tour was outstanding. Our guide, Rachel, was an absolute pleasure, very knowledgeable, and answered every question our group asked. Greatly appreciated the tour and would strongly recommend.

Quick moving, fun and interesting tour! - WOW - What a fun way to watch the changing of the guard. Our guide was Rachel, and she met our group right on time and escorted us to the starting location of the guard. She was awesome! She asked the crowd to move over to make room for us on the sidewalk, but by doing so she was also doing them a favor, as she knew the crowds across the street would be told to move and they would get pushy and try to crowd in on our side of the street. She was assertive when the crowd started to stand in front of us and protected our space with a smile and a telescoping stick. After listening to the guard play a round of music, we were off on a quick walk to keep up with them. We could see the guard and listen all the way up to the roundabout in front of the palace. She then placed us in another location for the next chapter of the ceremony. It was a quick paced tour, moving through the crowds and alongside the guard. Definitely a unique way to watch the ceremony. We also thought it was fabulous that Rachel wore a red and white outfit (think finding Waldo) that helped us keep track of her while we were moving from place to place. So many tour guides were dressed in black, or navy and they blended into the crowd. Not our girl, she was smart, fun and energetic!

Great for days with large crowds and if you haven’t been before - I took this tour after few years back and found it an excellent way to see the best parts of the guard changing. I returned hoping to see the summer uniform, and while I wasn’t disappointed, I didn’t feel this time was worth it compared to just turning up. Pepe was motivated to ensure we had a good spot to see the old guard march past, however we didn’t move much between locations, and missing the dash between spots did reduce the feeling of excitement of the experience. Nevertheless, Pepe was an excellent and knowledgeable guide and did ensure we had a good vantage point.
