• Highclere Castle - On this day tour, you will explore the main ‘Downton Abbey’ film locations including Highclere Castle used as Downton Abbey, Bampton which is used as Downton village and Cogges Farm which is used as Yew Tree Farm. Leaving the hubbub of town, your morning will be spent visiting Downton Village and Yew Tree Farm and enjoying the picturesque Cotswold scenery and villages.

From here, you will set off to the heart of rural Oxfordshire most notably, you will visit Downton Village where you will get a guided tour of the village and see familiar sites such as exteriors of Downton hospital, the village pub, the former home of Matthew Crawley and the local church, amongst others. Following this guided tour you will be able to explore the village for yourself.

Then its off to the jewel in the crown of Downton Abbey filming locations - Highclere Castle. This nineteenth century castle which boasts 5000 acres of beautiful grounds is the centrepiece for any Downton fan.
