Just perfect. - The tour was very good, our guide Eva is a charm and worried that we were all at ease and enjoys bouquets of the visit. We forgot some books on the bus and they solved it with interest and the same guide moved to retrieve them.

Worth every penny! - This was an incredible tour. What made it the most memorable was absolutely our guide Richard. His knowledge of the series was amazing. He actually worked on the production team for the series. He gave loads of behind the scenes fun facts and made it a wonderful day. We had a full sized coach (bus) which showed DVD episodes of the show. The DVD did have issues and stopped functioning but that actually made the tour better as we got to hear more information from the filming of the show. We had about a 15 minute narrated tour of Bampton and then had 30 mins on our own. We saw the church, the square, both pubs, the doctors office, and the Main Street from the show. We then went to Highclaire Castle (Downton Abbey) and after some tips offered toured the castle and grounds. Truly a memorable day. Highly recommend this tour.

Downton Abbey Tour - A wonderful tour of Highclere & the Downton Abbey village. My guide Eva was so knowledgeable with terrific side note anecdotes to share! Lovely time...only downside was an issue with no audio on DVD player on bus, but made the best of it. Well worth the booking.
